there's so many things going on and yet it all makes sense, the steps, the formation in perfect harmony and synchronization. i had to watch this multiple times to see everything, you really can't miss anything. every few seconds you get that 'wow' factor from literally every member. not to mention incorporating chairs and sign language in the dance, it's such a good addition. they make dancing with those chairs look so easy and that says a lot. we appreciate it!! XG setting the bars higher and higher, can't get any more excited for their comeback!!
On top of dancing with chairs, the chairs in the music show performances each had their own letters on them, and throughout the performance you could see GRL GVNG spelled out in the correct order facing the crowd

If you look closely they’re moving these chairs into exact positions without markings that in itself is astonishing. Chairs are not common but even fewer utilize chairs like this.

I'm speaking on the real WORLD of Dance competitions sponsored by Some Famous Hairstylist 💇 I think his name was PAUL MITCHELL. They did all kinds of styles of dance it was fire. W.O.D. check it out. Chances are you will recognize some of the choreographers used now in music videos were part of Dance Crews then.❤
no cus this choreo must be hard to remember, not only do they use sign language in the choreo but they also move the chairs in different formations and always keep the chairs perfectly aligned so everything is straight and perfect. so not only did they learn this whole choreography, they also learned sign and learned the positions and formations of each chair. that takes a lot of skill and practice shootout to them damn
As a dancer, if or whenever my dance instructor adds chairs i literally cry inside and want to violently sob so yes, it does make it harder and more confusing 😭😭
As someone who’s danced with chairs it can be hard at first. Sometimes it makes it harder to get to a spot fast enough, and it can take up space so sometimes you may hit someone😭 but you just gotta keep practicing and it gets easier. I also did this dance in tap and the stage was rlly slippery so it was hard to like fast walk to our spots because we would be sliding and falling 💀
Actually think XG have set the bar so high and no disrespect but the other idols groups are just not able to dance like these girls. Like the XG stages are far better quality. Hopefully we’ll see a trend of full blown dance routines and not just tiktok jingle dances.
