I dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
@Mathias Stephen thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
just adding this for myself :) great video and beautiful pattern! the repeating row: slip stich 3 (to middle chain 1 in shell shell stich) (all in middle chain area) chain 3 2 double crochets 1 chain 3 double crochets double crochet in each of the next 2 double crochets 2 chains double crochet in the chain spot of the clusters 1 chain (in next double crochet) cluster 2 chains cluster 1 chain double crochet in each of the next 2 double crochets (in chain space of shell) 3 double crochets 1 chain 3 double crochets
This would make beautiful insertion lace into a white ruffly blouse with pin tucks too! Thank you! I'm allergic to most places, but I can crochet some and it wont bother me.
My first time to use one of your videos. I am making this using 4 medium yarn and a G hook. I am using the color creme. So far it looks lovely. Thanks for your clear instructions.
Hi Linda! Oh, I'm so glad that the pattern is working out with yarn too! Thank you for taking your time and leaving me a comment! Getting feedback on my patterns and videos is a great motivation for me! 😀
You are welcome! I love working with thread, so I'm happy to know others crocheters are interested in crochet with thread tutorials! Will do my best! 😀♥️
OH !! I just found you, and I am so excited !!! It is not so easy, to find really nice crocheted pieces, in English. I have many saved, from all over the world, but to learn from them, I have to play, pause, do, play again, and so on. I gladly do it, to have access to such lovely things, but it will be so much easier for me in English. God bless you, and best of luck with your channel. xoxo
@@sandrikawalcott4870 It's kind of hard to answer it right from the top of my head. I would have to sit down and experiment, do some calculations and adopt this pattern. I'll put it on my crochet to-do list.
Oh, you are very welcome! I really like the shabby chic style, delicate lace, handkerchief edgings, doilies, etc. I'll be sharing more in the future! Hugs 🤗♥️
Olga Poltava 👍🏻👍🏻yes dear I agree..shabby chic is wander full art 😍 and as long as you love it I'm sure you'll be very successful with it ⭐️⭐️..have a good time ❤️
Just to be clear, after doing row 1 and row 2 and row 3, in order to widen the lace, row 3 will be repeated over and over again until the desired length is reached right? Thankkss
Hi Elena, I have this tutorial on my channel: th-cam.com/video/kdZrQRKLWLU/w-d-xo.html And I also have some lace edgings in my pattern shop too: www.etsy.com/shop/olgapoltava?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=18498460
Absolutely gorgeous pattern. I love your patterns and your tutorials are so easy to follow. I would struggle with the thread and hook size. This would make beautiful scarf using a 3 weight yarn and hook. What is the multiple?
Hi Susan, thank you for such kind words about my crochet work! 😀♥️ If you'd like to use this pattern for a scarf, here are the adjustments. Multiple of 12, plus 11 Row 1: the same. Row 2: ch 3, turn, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in 1st sc (shell made), skip next 3 sc, ***dc in next 2 sc, ch 2, skip next 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, skip next 3 sc, (dc3-tog, ch 2, dc3-tog) all in next sc, ch 1, skip next 3 sc*** across to last 6 sc, dc in next 2 sc, skip next 3 sc, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in last sc (shell made). Row 3: turn, sl st to ch-1 space of shell, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in same ch-1 space (shell made), ***dc in next 2 dc, ch 2, dc in ch-space between next two dc3-tog, ch 1, (dc3-tog, ch 2, dc3-tog) all in next dc, ch 1*** across to last 2 dc and shell, dc in next 2 dc, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in ch-1 space of last shell (shell made).
Very good question! Thank you for brining it up! I should've included it in the video. Since we started with a row of single crochets, we can also end with a row of single crochets. Simply make a single crochet into each stitch of the last row.
Either way would work. I think it will look very pretty if connected as mile a minute. But also the middle part of the pattern can be extended, though I cannot tell the multiple for the stitch from the top of my head, I would have to redo the calculations.
Hi Adelle, no, you can't just double the amount of starting chains; that won't work. But if you want to make a shawl/wrap/wide scarf, here are the adjustments for the pattern. Use the yarn of your choice and a corresponding hook size. Multiple of 12, plus 11 Row 1: the same. Row 2: ch 3, turn, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in 1st sc (shell made), skip next 3 sc, **dc in next 2 sc, ch 2, skip next 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, skip next 3 sc, (dc3-tog, ch 2, dc3-tog) all in next sc, ch 1, skip next 3 sc** across to last 6 sc, dc in next 2 sc, skip next 3 sc, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in last sc (shell made). Row 3: turn, sl st to ch-1 space of shell, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in same ch-1 space (shell made), **dc in next 2 dc, ch 2, dc in ch-space between next two dc3-tog, ch 1, (dc3-tog, ch 2, dc3-tog) all in next dc, ch 1** across to last 2 dc and shell, dc in next 2 dc, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) all in ch-1 space of last shell (shell made). Repeat row 3.

can we extend this to make a shawl? Or we need to join every pieces to make one like mile a minute pattern?

jó lenne ha kiirnák a szemek számát mivel nem beszéljük a nyelvet
Muy bonito
How many foundation chains would be needed to make 9 yards of lace
Thxs ...I want to make it a shawl may I start with 46 stch ? And use the 5 mm. Hook? Or 7mm?

Repeat row 3.
Will it still work if you do it with thicker yarn? I want to crochet a top with lace sleeves so I was just wondering if it would work
I haven't tried it with thicker yarn, but it should work, though I can't really say how well it will drape.

What kind of thread is this? Is this the same one we use in sewing?
Crochet cotton thread size 10; it's thicker than the sewing thread.

it's too difficult for me... 😥 mine looks ugly...
You can try practicing with thin yarn first.

where do we get this type of yarn
This is crochet cotton thread size 10. I specifically used Aunt Lydia's. I usually buy it from my local crafts store, but it's also available online.
My hands are cramping just watching but I do want to try adapting this pattern with little skulls in it, so I just gotta suck it up. Lol
