I'd say that the rubber base doesn't build as much structure as a builder gel overlay so it's great for anyone wanting less thickness, especially if they're wanting a shade from the rubber base range as then you're not adding additional bulk by having to add colour over the top of builder gel.. a rubber base overlay can also be great if your client isn't needing to have stregth added to the nail, alot of the time we find clients switch from the builder gel overlays to rubber base overlays once they have got their nails to a length and stregth they're happy with and want a more natural look. ❤ I hope this helps x
