More love, in OC tomoorow for a fish trip. Hoping for some dolphin.
@@woTrainingWheelz Well the seas have been flat calm and a boat from Chincoteague came in with a ton of dolphin yesterday. I think you will do well .
Nice opening shot...The Lily Rose Team
@@jasonscaggs2220 Yes great team !
Great job guys...
@@rls-ryan I hope they win .
It’s still going on just a fish on the board . Three days of tropical storm could be interesting.
6:49. Almost.

The bigger marlin have been south of VA for the most part of this summer and the previous.
@@alltree78 Water temp at beach is low 60’s .
@@Pickers__ParadiseYes but the temp in the Gulf Stream where the billfishing grounds is, is a lot warmer!
@@c.c.1070 Yes I heard 23 miles out it warmed up . That’s crazy cold on the beach for August 60% .
WHY😢
@@Therealdeal631 Im extremely sad I didn’t catch it too .
Why not?
Wowser!!!!!
@@nodrogskram1857 Big One !
It’s funny how catch and release goes out the window when there’s big money involved.
@@NewMoonBlitz Well $$$ on the line .
Marlin are actually very delicious and very prevalent. Catch and release on most marlin has become more of stigmatism than anything.
Catch & Release takes real skill to get lots of fish. The element of luck is still in play with largest fish - and that's what draws the big money.
@@fredcory2686 Unfortunately they need that scale to win !
How do you catch , measure , weigh and release a friggin marlin? I doubt the fish goes to waste…..ever.
They should have judges on the boats instead of killing all these fish, especially if know one eats them
@@fasteddie7997 They do eat them . The also get donated to a local food bank . Some of those fish donated retail for thousands of dollars.
It's not really that big of a fish
@@markstegeman5986 It’s $4 million $$$ big . I think I was around 3.7 million actually.
And people wonder why fish populations are so low.
@@edbrown6985 The Bill fish have been repopulating since the 80’s . Over 200+ white marlin caught and released is a good sign.
