It just did, about 15 bucks, it's way deeper than you think, check the steamtrailer. It does look like a little joke of a game but... owww yeah... this series could continue for a while.....

This game is available on steam about 12 hours from this video being uploaded, but it is available on itch.io right now for $20. The developer does say the steam release will have a discount on launch day, though.
Love this already. City builders are always my favorite from NL
Nothing beats NL trying and failing at grand strategy for me, but city builders are a close second.

I am really loving the variety of content lately. Lots of interesting games.
This game is Pog. The variety is the best thing to happen to TH-cam in a while.
NL, your Banished series was the first video series I ever stumbled across and watched. Been subbed ever since. Keep the good work up man
is it just me or does this game have trouble identifying to one art style, the ground is smooth, the paths are sharp, the lumber mill and trees are pixels and the houses and base are higher detailed like dude just pick one
A dynamic artstyle can work well sometimes but I fear that this might be more the case of an asset flip, just based on how the artstyle feels more haphazard than intentional.
Please do a lot of videos on this! It's the type of game that's right up your alley.

I just got into this game ... always set my base in a large open space next to trees, grain and rocks ... all other concerns are secondary.
On the real though 2019 is eggmans fucking year he seems so inspired and full of ambition
You build the chute too high, the last ramp up should not be there
He even knew it had to be lower, he built a ramp down so it was accessible but then just deleted it nooo

At the time of this comment writing, this game IS on Steam, but can't be bought for a good 10 more hours. This game..is interesting, and does have a good take on the mixture of Banished and Factorio combined. I do have both games too.
It's Starcraft but no one is trying to blow up your base.

Why would you move logs from the base to the plank maker when you can move logs from the trees to the plank maker directly? It will allow you to build up a supply of logs in your main base while still getting you planks.

idk this is okay. But without a sense of urgency or real purpose, I'm not sure why I wouldn't just do frostpunk/rim/dawn of man/banished over this. Shit even gnomoria was more gratifying than this when you finally get a community running.

I believe that is the result of a discussion on how to handle full series vs one shots vs play til he loses interest, cause the biggest consens was that people don't mind if he doesn't finish series, but at least want to know in advance, so if it's a game that is open ended and he plans to play for a while but does not know how long, it's gonna be /? While one shots will have nothing and series he already knows how long they go will have a number after /.
Honestly I prefer this format.
