God evening to you my dear brothers. Thank you for this information. I’ve often wondered about this and though I don’t worship a star, I often thought the Star of David, to me, represented in my heart, a symbol of the origin of the human body of Jesus being referenced to as the morning star and day star from the lineage of king David. I had used it as a jump off point to start a conversation surrounding the Lord Jesus Christ and of course leading to discussing the need to get saved. My life is about “No compromises”! If anything I do may threaten my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, it has to go… I guess I don’t need a prop to start a conversation about the Lord Jesus Christ. Many had approached me in the past saying “Gee Doc, I didn’t know you were Jewish.“ And of course I would tell them “I’m not!” then I would go onto my dissertation of the star of David representing Jesus Bright morning star from the line of and lineage of David. Your handling of the subject matter in the depths that you have, has made me take a second and third look at this thing and the need to dump the star. Even though in my heart I was not worshiping it. I don’t want anything to even remotely and possibly jeopardize or compromise my relationship with my Lord and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank both of you so very much. Doc, from Cape Cod Massachusetts.
Those are not the words that kjv uses. Acts 7:43 [43]Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon. It does not say the tabernacle of god but of moloch and not the star of david but of remphan.
