As always, a great video, direct and to the point!
I recently saw an older video of yours about building a house in Norway from scratch (part 1), however, and please forgive me if I missed something, part 1 seems to be the only one available.
Would you consider an update video? Talking about the pros, cons, challenges and lessons from building a house in Norway?
    It would be much appreciated!
    Thank you

Well, technically it’s not quite correct that you pay half tax . Because they just add this amount to the other months. If you choose you can pay the same tax amount each month

Just recently discovered your channel, and as someone who is considering moving to Norway, you're videos are very useful.
Big difference in my case is that I'm quite a bit older (55) so it could be difficult for me to get a job in Norway. On the plus side, I now have a job which allows me to work at home for about 80% of my time. So if I can work out some sort of an arrangement with my employer, a move to Norway could be sooner rather than later.
Speaking of later, is it more difficult when you want to move to Norway as a pensioner?

If the European Union wants Norway to join, they should've something to offer that Norway doesn't have. I think that is how it works. Norway shouldn't join a union and only be a giver and get a share in the economical problems of the union when they didn't have problems in the first.
It would be interesting if you found out if there are any problems with Norway that would be solved by joining the EU, Sara and make a video about it, for example "Why should Norway join the EU?" :D

    • @sarainnorway
      @sarainnorway  ปีที่แล้ว +1

well.. There is of course a good reason why they will not :) + they still have some good collaborations and deals with european countries.. A reason for joining would simple be to have a "vote" in how europe do "their" thing.. To simply have a voice, and be part of this type of "community".. Say if war comes around.. Will countries support Norway as much as members of EU ?? I am just putting up questions...

haha, 4 pairs is pretty good actually - I think I have three "complete" pairs, and then a couple of extra "gensers" xD

No to EU twise was much more about protecting agraculture and fish then oil..
We would have to share our ocean with fishers from every EU contry that wanted to come here. (and our domestic food production would be outcompeted instantly)
Not everyone could just start pumping our oil in the north sea tho,,, that would be illegal as well as impossible to do industialy without our consent. (Im sure oil also vektored in to it politicaly somehow tho..)

Why is food sold in tiny packaging...? Is that a government plan to keep everyone thin? Can't imagine why people aren't complaining, especially when the weather is ice cold and you need food to keep warm.

    Half tax is not correct.
But normally in Norway, we pay tax for the whole year in 11 months. So we get 1/2 tax in December and June. But trust me. You have already paid for it.
