I bought one of these (GSXR 600 L1) earlier this year Yoshi can straight through system. It initial failed the noise test at a Caldwell Park track day. A great bike perfect for road and track, why spend £10000+ ?

Would this exhaust system pass a standard MOT test? Or would it be considered too loud? Cheers

@@XxRUDER4CERxX Fortunately we don't have a noise limit for the MOT in the UK but is loud. I have since fitted an internal DB Killer forward of the silencer it sounds deeper. I also have had the bike remapped with the DB killer fitted and have just short of 114 bhp and 46+ torques, pulls like a train any gear any revs. Jordan's in Leeds did the remap.

@@geraldgoodman9324 I thought the MOT inspector can fail it on the basis of it being excessively louder than stock? - Damn that’s crazy! I’m hopefully picking one up end of this week.. Will be my first 600cc after passing my test😁

@@XxRUDER4CERxX Been biking 60 years never had a bike engine even running whilst being MOT'd. You'll love the 600, 100bhp is all you need for public roads. Toured Europe many times on R1, Fireblades, GSXR 1000's not too comfortable at times but I was much younger then. Enjoy your bike stay safe and hopefully it will become your passion.

Forgot to say I do have a Ducati Monster 1100 EVO which is more comfortable to ride for these old bones.
