For those that have done this before and just need a refresher, here are my steps Note: I don’t add posterize filters etc like he does Click main photo. Alt, then click layer mask button Bring in your texture photo Resize it Ctrl L Slide the middle slider to the right to around .73 Slide the right slider to about 240 In the bottom, you see output levels. Change the 255 slider to like 150 Hit ok Cntrl. Click on the layer photo Cntrl C Cntrl D Hide the layer Click main layer mask Unlink it Click main layer mask Alt click Cntrl V Click the main photo Resize it how u want Then duplicate that layer, click the layer mask, resize, & repeat If you can see thru the layer mask (if you have this issue, you’ll know what I’m referring to) play around with the settings after hitting Cntrl L above. Once you get the right color and darkness to the texture file, save that in a separate photoshop file for next time!
Your instructions are so clear and concise, it's so easy to follow your tutorials. You explain everything in detail so people who follow know EXACTLY what they're doing and how to do it. Keep up the good work man. Like many have stated, you should have far more subs than you already do, but they will come with time and patience my friend!
