Jackfruit Biryani
Ingredients:-
Jackfruit- 1/2
Basmati Rice - 2 cups
Chilli Powder - 1 tb spn
Coriander Powder- 1 tb spn
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Brown onions - 1/2 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Green chillies- 4
Mint leaves- 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
Whole Garam masala - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tb spn
Salt - to taste
Saffron- water

couldn't understand but a word here and there, but watched it from start to finish anyways. I have never worked with jackfruit, but am very curious about it. After watching, I am not afraid to buy one and break it down and keep your hands oiled because its sticky!

Prepararion:
Jackfruit core has to be removed a if the fruit is not ripe (green one as shown) the seeds are edible. In case of ripe fruit, the seeds are hard.
Peel the skin of jackfruit, cut into small pieces, to boiling water add salt and pieces and cook it for 5-6mins on a high flame. (70%)
Allow the pieces to cool, to which
add 1tsp ginger garlic paste ,
1tbsp chilli powder,
1tbsp corainder powder and
1tsp cumin powder.
Marinate it
Base for biryani:
Fry them, add 1cup curd, 1tsp garam masala, stir them.
Add fresh coriander, mint, chillies and 1/2 cup brown onions
Mix it throughly, add salt and spread it across the utensil. Turn off the flame
Keep it aside.
For biryani rice:
Note: soak the basmati rice for 30mins
To the boiling water add salt and it should taste like a sea salt water (as we are going to add rice), add 2tbsp oil, add cinnamon, shahi jeera, marathi moggu, cardamom, 1-2 cloves.
Add 2cups basmati rice - stir it, cook it for 7 to 8mins. (Till 80% of rice is done)
Final Cooking (Dum):
Add the rice (strained) layer by layer. Add one spoon of the boiled rice water, fresh coriander, mint, rose water or kewra water, saffron water.
Close the lid tightly, allow to cook it on a slow flame. Serve it after 5mins
