There is no one size fits all, maybe you’re more audio than visual and just need to remember how to inwardly listen as so many of us have forgotten. Remember you’re the teacher and the student, all is know from within yet so many of us have lost that trust from within in this extroverted society. Find out what works for you and your experiences will be personally tailored from within to create the desired effect which might not necessarily be what you expect yet is what you’re looking for, good luck! 👍
As @notahouse said, some people do not experience active imagination visually. For some, active imagination is experienced only as a voice speaking. For others, they must sculpt or paint what they feel yet do not see. Jung noted this with many of his patients. Hope this helps 🙂
Sure. I made it after writing the story. I wanted to do something mandala-like. It was just raw creativity. I drew it in photoshop using a mirrored pattern brush and in my video editing program I simply rotated it for perspective and made it spin.
