    During my recent visit, my mum lost her diamond ring (just swarowski nothing too expensive). She noticed it right after we stepped out of Roger Rabbit ride and could not pin point as to where it might have dropped or when it happened. She was ready to part with it as it was like finding a needle in a haystack especially since we just stepped out of a dark ride. I just took my chances and asking the cast members at the ride if they have seen a ring. With the little English they know, they had me speak into their phone and try to decipher what I was saying with some translation app and some charades from my part. They felt so concerned that my mum had lost a ring and was determined to find it even after i said that it is okay if it was not found. they started speaking over the walkie talkie. another was trying to cheer my mum up. and another was literally standing where people were alighting from the car and checked every single one for the ring. and to my surprise, they found the ring after 2-3 minutes in! This is probably the best showcase of the level of commitment and service the Japanese cast member put in their work. I would expect grunts and annoyance from other parks if the same were to happen elsewhere.

      Same with my wife's mobile phone: she lost it in the park during our honey moon, and they gave it her back in few minutes. Thanks to this what could have been a sad memory in our honey moon trip became a great memory

      This happened to my friend as well! last year, we tried this extreme ride and it was fun. right after that we explored more of the resort and when it was already evening, we just realized that my friend’s ring was missing. so we went back to ask the staff of that extreme ride if they found a ring. luckily we have our young japanese cousin to describe the ring specifically and as our translator 😊💖 staff tried their best, and they communicated with their walkie talkie as well. it didn’t took long after they found it and realized we left it on the tray where we put our stuff before riding. This is one of my reasons why I love Japan! you can leave ur belongings everywhere and trust them. 🥺💖

    Absolutely amazing park. The cast is incredible (they could teach US cast members and execs about Disney-level customer service) and the place is immaculate ( to the point where cast members wipe down benches while it’s raining!). My only complaint is that the clothing doesn’t come in sizes for Pooh-sized Westerners! If you’re a hardcore Disney parks fan, you need to go. Now. Seriously!

    • @ReviewTyme
      @ReviewTyme  6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Whilst at first glance it may not look that different but the entire ride is trackless meaning each car dances with the others and follows different paths throughout the attraction, partner this with full scale animatronics not the statues like elsewhere and a little bit of Disney magic and you have an attraction not to be missed!

      I have been to Pooh rides in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo several times and the Tokyo one is just amazing by a far mile. It is the first ride I will grab a fast pass or run to when the theme park opens. As for HK and Shanghai, I usually skip it on my return trips these days unless it has a short wait time - which is never.

    Can you do the 2 parks in 1 day? Would you need 2 tickets?

    • @ReviewTyme

      Unfortunately Tokyo Doesn't offer park hopper tickets until you get a 3 or 4 day ticket and even then you can only park hop on days 3&4 not 1 or 2. If you did want to do both parks in a single day you would need two 1 day tickets but it would be difficult to get everything done. - Luke

    • @livingstoked
      @livingstoked 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey there! I have been to both parks multiple times and would recommend 1 day per park minimum. My husband and I managed to ride almost every ride in one day once, but we did not see any shows or other entertainment (which I do not recommend), walked over 20km's to do so and were there from drop to close. I highly doubt we could have achieved even close to that at DisneySea. If it is your first trip DisneySea will have you walking around in wonder for at least an hour anyway.
      So overall, I would recommend 1 day at Disneyland and if you can manage it 2 at DisneySea. HAVE SO MUCH FUN XX

      Tokyo in late July to August gets very similar Humidity to the middle of summer in Florida, with that real sticky feeling heat. Outside of summer, however, Tokyo's humidity is quite bearable and gets quite cold in Winter, with it even occasionally snowing at the Tokyo Disney Resort. - Luke

      osaka is 2.5 hrs away from tokyo by bullet train. adding some additional traveling time could lead up to an extra 1 hour +. If you're in already in osaka or planning to go, definitely visit universal. but if I'm in tokyo, i will definitely always do either disneyland or disneysea. in fact, i plan my japan trips around the disney parks. disneysea has the best theming in a theme park in the world. and tokyo disneyland has the best atmosphere and joy and experiences that cannot be compared to other parks in the world. Mind you i've been to paris, shanghai, hk, anaheim disney parks and universal in singapore, osaka and LA. The tokyo disney resort wins hands down.

As I went to Anaheim when I was a kid and remember it being huge but I'm conscious that might also be because I was about 10 years old.
