You are bringing a child into this world, you have to make sure you do justice to your child. Any woman can give birth, even animals give birth. But every child deserves both set of parents. You are taking away the right of the child to have a father. Being free, having equality, being a feminist doesn’t mean competing with men on making bad choices.
A time will come when being single mother will be called as women empowerment 🤣
But who is to judge that it’s a bad choice? Like disregard teen pregnancy, accidental pregnancy, etc. if a woman for whatever reason doesn’t want to get married doesn’t mean choosing to have a child is a bad choice. That child can have a stable life with a loving, prepared and supportive mom. Are you really suggesting that such a household will be worse than a house where the two parents have no love for one another and are only together for the child?

Also what will the baby get from the single mother?? The baby will have no property as you know property (asset) are owned by men.
Even a earning mother can't have that much asset that she will leave for her baby.

Every child deserves father and mother. But being a mother is a very natural thing. It's biological. While being a father is not so natural that's why we don't see fathers in animal kingdom. Because of marriage, father was made. If a guy wants to be a father than he must be a man enough to take responsibility of that upcoming child and support his partner. Actually though most of these types of statistics are incredibly biased. There is a massive difference between a 16-22 year old having an accidental pregnancy while she’s in school, disrupting her education, etc. and the way that child will be raised as opposed to a woman who is like 27-35 who decides she doesn’t want to get married but is in a stable place to have a kid. Both women are single parents, but one chose that situation and one ended up in it, so the kid whose mom chose this lifestyle will have a better chance in life, and people neglect to mention those differences or statistics. And it’s not even they neglect to mention it, our society doesn’t want women to know that this is a viable, valid option so those truths are often glossed over or hidden from the public.
That's because they receive societal slangs at a tender age. The psychology develops of inflicting pain as you have received the pain and hardships yourself. The societal idea of view woman as a object of valour according to their convenience is at fault. Not Karan's understanding. What he said was progressive and utopian but also had sense

When a woman is pregnant, she needs physical, mental, financial support because gestation causes many changes in body, psychology etc.
Having a child outside of marriage is not an issue for me because I'm an independent thinker and I'm living in an environment where I can raise single-handedly however not everyone becomes so strong and adaptive in the course of time to face the people, society, it's rules blah blah.
When we are young in early 20s it's a panic if we get pregnant while being unmarried and we can keep the child only if we have someone to support us else the decision to be a young single mother will be taxing to your health, head and entire life.
And I'm sorry to say this but in Asian society for majority of the cases though men say that they don't have issues with the past of woman but their actions reflect opposite.
