I heard the 2013-2015 were bad years for the accord I don’t know if the coupe was different, did you experience any issues with the engine ? Or what’s the worse mechanical issue you’ve experienced with this car ?
Worst mechanical issue was a broken speed sensor wire that was my fault for not putting it back where it belonged. As hard as I’ve pushed this car and the mods I’ve done to it there has never been an issue. Stay on top of regular maintenance and it’ll last.
I got rid of the stock 18's on my 2012 V6 coupe. The dealer got me a new set of 17" take off's rims
and tires from a standard accord. The result is quieter ride and the tire hits the curb and not the rim.

They don’t max out at 120 😅but that’s so you don’t put others at danger and so you won’t think about causing a high speed chase.
If you’re doing 130, 140 without committing a heinous crime, they’ll let you go because they don’t want to endanger the public

im honestly not sure if I get a honda accord v6 coupe or sedan. Any tips/ suggestions as to what I should lean towards?
Aryam Banaji I personally suggest getting the coupe especially if you’re more into spirited driving or just a more engaging feel. But if space is an issue then the sedan is probably better for you.
4DP Thanks man. i’m mainly interested in the looks of the car, aftermarket performance and installing it myself since i wanna learn more about cars. it’s a bit harder to find coupes in my area for the price i’m looking for tho, but if the coupe is more convenient in your opinion and experience i’ll look into it
Do yourself a favor and grab a 6 speed manual Accord, this one may look nice, but in all honesty it is garbage compared to the real VTEC in the J35Z3 engine. The automatic V6 has VCM and no VTEC at all! I have an 08 6 speed manual Accord and I constantly smoke everyone on the road like a party joint.

@@seanmurphy6167 you still get vtec with the automatic. Just not as much as the manual and not as fun. You can’t go wrong with the auto. Especially if you get the coupe with paddle shifters

You said you had 19's in the video but hate the wheel gap. I feel that, but was the gap you mentioned at factory hight or with a slight drop. 2nd, I am looking to get some footwear for mine. Were you satisfied with the look of the 19:s and the ride quality or would you have gotten 20's or 21's if you could do it over. Hit me back bro. 2x2'$

Love your car, she is very sexy. I have only ever owned coupes, and I can't imagine myself buying any other body style. I currently have a Scion tC, but am looking to upgrade. I'm torn between a new Honda Accord Coupe or a Civic Si Coupe. Whichever I get, it will be in black, and all of my exterior mods will black out the entire car (including silver trim), and purple black lighting. Which one do you think would be the better purchase for me? 💙
Hey beautiful, I currently own an 08 Accord coupe with the 6 speed manual transmission and let me tell you, it is really the only good one to get. The automatic has fake VTEC and is built for fuel economy alone. Where as the 6 speed manual has true real VTEC and will definitely put a smile on your pretty face.

My 2002 Honda Accord V6 sedan will hit 140mph.
I had a 2002 v6 and it easily hit 135. That car was such a bad ass that I flipped it twice at 80mph landed on the wheels and I was still able to drive it 10 miles uphill to the house without a single scratch on me, not even a bruise from the seatbelt! The car was fucked though, looked like I had chopped the top down to about 4". Best part (besides only having to brush the dust off me) I parted out the motor, trans, seats and a few other parts for 3x what I paid for the car. And since I drove off and made it home no cops or insurance company was involved. ACCORDing to me....these are THE best cars you can buy!

@@VesselFitterguy I haven't topped out yet in my '14 v6 coupe. That needle just keeps going and going. I always let off when a curve is coming up. Needless to say I have flashbacks of rolling the '02. Everytime I take'er out into I-80 CHP seems to creep (or I creep on them) and have to let off. Fast ass factory cars tho that's for sure.
