Performance wise we’re much the same as last year bar a few games, so its another season of Grind.I think we’re going to be here for a few seasons will make the semifinals and I’m that’s our season.
Dave I agree with you about Lewis Dodd, well up until the point where you said taking out of the team altogether would be 'ridiculous' My question would be why? his form is poor, he was at fault for three tries at HKR. I would bring him out of the team based on poor form. He has no real credit in the bank, so remove him.
I just think if we take him out the team completely at the moment then it’s bridges burnt and that’s it - there’s a player there: he’s lacking form badly but the issues run throughout for various reasons.
As demonstrated at Leigh last week, Cas are not as "lesser" as they were a few weeks ago. You should be able to win this, but it will take canny game management to do it. I mean from Wellens as well as the halves on the pitch. With their old men back at the front, and you being short of Paasi and Walmsley, their starters can match yours there. Your advantage is in the power you can bring off the bench, but it's going to have to be judiciously timed, especially as McShane and Westerman both stand up well to long spells. The comparison of Hoy and Welsby will be interesting. Expect a strong performance from Cas at their place. You should have enough to win, but you'll need 80 minutes concentration to make it count. It will be a real boost for Cas if they pull this one off, and I'm sure they know it. Of the next six victories you're counting on, this could be a hard one. The following week won't be. Never mind players, we're running out of head injury consultants! I love Cas, too! The new seats look great. I wonder if they'll be ready for this week? If so, why not be amongst the first bums to polish them? I would.
I think Wello copied Craig Bellamy after the Melbourne v Brisbane game earlier in the season when Bellamy said he would rather win 12-0 then the 34-32 it ended. Think Wello needs to realise games can be financially costing and nobody wants to fork out money to watch a 12-0 full affair. Bring back the classic Milward tactics of if your score 4, we will score 5
And who's to blame for Siro not going on until 50 mins? The coach. I've backed Wello so far, but I'm beginning to be turned...

The disappointing thing for me is that we seem to have given up against KR and Warrington

Cas are having to put seats in for IMG points. Can’t afford to wait until new stand built which will be 2025/26.
