The books are excellent. The only hint I'll give is that Season 1 is only the FIRST HALF of book one. The series is called "The Silo Saga" by Hugh Howey 😊
They had to something to make it fun to watch. I'm not trying to mean here, but the book is way to obvious. I got bored by book two.

Yes before they go out they are sprayed with chemicals that get into the suit and kills within a few mins. It also destroys their flesh inside the suit. That's in the book.

This made no sense.
Not super impressed with this show. The pacing is ridiculously slow. Nothing happens. Mysteries aren’t all that intriguing. By the time the protagonist goes outside it’s already the last min of the last episode. Def needs better pacing.
You just made me waste 18 minutes without part 2 or 3. downvote.

Wow thanks, no matter if you’re 40 or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised.
