I still think it’s so weird that rear suspension design has gotten so complex and varied, yet forks have gone pretty much nowhere in design. I thought we’d be seeing something like the Trust Message fork on frames like this, but I guess that didn’t work out. I got to ride one of those forks and thought it was excellent.

Why no mention of the UDH version of this frame? Sure it isnt as fancy and probably performs a bit worse, due to the different chain tension, but it is still the same mainframe, just the rear end is different and it looses the damper in the frame.
also love the zoidberg reference... Ok, this seems to me like the perfect EWS bike... all the capabilities of a DH bike, that can 'still' pedal up the cat trails and fire roads for the varying stages. I can see the best of the best maybe getting the most out of it... say a Jared Graves, Rude, etc.. when every second counts. But for most of us? Probably cheaper just to rent a Demo at the hill on park days.
Except most enduro races (including ews) have fairly significant pedaling sprints mid stage. Additionally the fastest performers are on more nimble suspensions that enable generating speed rather than comfort. This seems more of a statement bike for a guy in his mid 40's looking to start conversations on the trail.
lol I am in my early 40s haha, but have been watching the progress of EWS... so I agree. Most EWS bikes, let alone winning ones aren't high pivot, nor couches... are any high-pivot? Maybe Wyn's GT? I mean certainly not Yeti, Rocky and even the Norco team riders seem to opt out of the Range or Shore. I was an avid 4x, DH and freerider, and all those sports have also evolved or disappears (poor 4x)... so you have me convinced, this bike is mostly gravity oriented, but for what purpose? If I were to bike park with a lift or shuttle, I'd grab a GT Fury... IF I were to ride fireroads back up, I'd probably get a ebike like a range and if I were a 'freerider' I'd want a mullet bike with a coil on 27.5 as I'd want the poppyness.
I’m curious how this would compare to just using a central Pinion gearbox. Gearbox puts the weight center and lets the rear suspension become more active by eliminating the cassette/derailleur (swing weight).
MTB noob here... Is this not more or less the same as the new Trek Slash 2024 ? As I have a bad/tired back from work, I want a bike with LOTS of suspension and that is dead SILENT (enjoy riding and seeing natur/animals in the woods) but alsp gives a more secure feeling going down over steep terain and over jumps)
Why? It’s a single pivot(with large bearings) and a drive train with one less pulley than usual high pivots + one of the most worn out components in a normal derailleur(the damper(often falsely called a clutch)) is replaced by a hydraulic one which is much more up to the job. Just because it’s different and the presenters are not able to count pulleys does not mean it’s complicated Ps complicated also does not mean unreliable or high maintenance
It just aches for a dual crown fork and wasn't tested that way. Super odd. The back end is heralded in your vid and yet the front end is coupled to a single crown rockshox..... also odd choices.
Better? That all depends on what you want. Hard to improve on shifting. My XO is better than any of the AXIS and DI2 stuff but,....this was designed to move the dangly derailer away from below the axle where it is going to catch rocks and branches.

I’d say the fact you can 3d print the cable guides makes it less proprietary…
I mean, you can 3d print anything you have models for...
So do I. Having used 3d printing to replace and improve parts like cable mounts I'd say it's a good move if done correctly
FDM printed mounts that are taped on are not a good look on an $11,000 bike though...
