Honestly it hurts to hear those lines because Arcane Vi would never hurt Cait and vice versa
@justinechaine5679 they were done back during Vi's release, LONG before Arcane ever became a thing. Same goes for Jinx's lines
@@justinechaine5679they weren’t official and after Jink potentially killing Cait’s mom and Caitlyn threatening Jinx this relationship would be hard to sustain. They work as allies but there’s a tension and Vi is still Zaunite no matter what she wants to run from

Aye, some hit close to home, others are just too cheesy. Really hope Vi and Ekko won't grow apart, they only just found each other and realised neither had turned against their family.

Some of those aways hitted hard even before Arcane, I aways felt like riot was cooking some lore update for her waaay before arcane was a thing, when we would finally have an idea of how she came to be with cait on the cops and what she was planning there, if she would end up back in Zaun after failling (multiple ways of that happening since multiple reasons), and we would get a Zaunite Vi lore skin, finally voice lines updates too! (specially after Gangplank deaths event).
But that never came out and was so disappointing, it still is a bit even tho Arcane

And i just realized that Bilgewater is based on America. What with all the cowboys and the whole people going their for individuality.

Well…i think the new trailer might give u an idea as to how that happens (vi joining the enforcers and ekko having absolutely no one left beside him)

I guess most champions share my opinion of Vi. 😅 Especially Zeri.
I could be delusional but i hope we might get a little bit of Zeri in s2 of arcane,considering she’s from Zaun and all,also her interactions with Vi are interesting and it kinda implies she was present during that time
I would love to see Zeri too.
Compared to the show the characters sound and somewhat even act completely different, really hope they leave game as it’s own thing and let the show do its own unique take.
I think the show will give us a slightly different character, not like in game. Also I've seen that characters from the game are changing according to the ones in the show, so it's ok.

Yeap, because they think Vi somehow just left them and turned against them. But instead she is fighting the chem barons not the people.

it’s way more complicated than her “choosing piltover over zaun”, obviously.
@juniper1350 it being complicated doesn't change the fact she's still considered a champion of "piltover" and not zaun lmfao.
The thing about Vi is she’s not fighting against Zaun, she’s fighting against the chem-barons who control Zaun. In the show she becomes outraged when the council starts talking about making peace with Silco, because in her mind a Zaun controlled by Piltover (as terrible as that was) is still preferable to a Zaun controlled by a collection of drug kingpins. Season Two hasn’t come out yet so I may be wrong, but I’m guessing she joins the police because she thinks it’s the best way for her to fight her enemies.
