    My first trip to Philippines to a obscure Visayas island also had construction workers next door to my rented beach house. I got the hell out of there and stayed at the town mayors resort instead. Who incidentally offered me girls on the first night. Awesome times awesome country!

    Michael, get some di-electric silicone grease and apply it to all of your electrical connections. Use it on light bulbs and plugs that go into outlets. There might be something in the hardware stores near you as well. It stops arc faults and voltage drops from rain, humidity, salt and fog. It is also used a lot in automotive so you could also try an automotive supply store.

      That sounds dumb to me. Silicone is for outdoors, not indoors electric. Just get a qualified electrician to take a look at your houses electrical system….and the sooner the better.(That that fibrous roof is a fire hazard!

    • @Ian-iu2tl
      @Ian-iu2tl 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@ericsays8801 You obviously do not know what di-electric grease is. It is silicone based and is a grease and does not cure or harden...it stays greasy. It is designed for this exact purpose. Do your home work before you label someone's advice as dumb and before you offer more costly advice as opposed to a simpler, cheaper and effective DYI method to mitigate the issues of electrical arcing.

    "Maybe" a dielectric grease will help with your outlet issues.
    Dielectric grease is some translucent substance that is used to seal electrical conductors to prevent dust, sand, dirt, or other foreign materials from sticking to the conductor. It also prevents the conductor from transferring a current between the contact points. Also, the dielectric grease blocks moisture, preventing corrosion in the process
