LOL…thanks! I might run it with them for a short time…to at least enjoy the work I had to do to grind the right side down to fit properly. 🤦🏻♂️ Thanks for watching!
sounds really great with headphones, i think this exhaust sounds deeper than the low slung exhaust. To me the low slung sounds more screemy... How much louder is this exhaust than stock? How much of a difference in idling loudness you reckon how much percentage?
I wouldn’t even know how to put a percentage on it…it’s like comparing apples and oranges. Completely different. I agree though, much deeper sound. Thanks for watching!
I’m trying to get this setup to pass a 98db track limit test - drive by, not static. Can you show the inside of the db killer and talk about what you might do (using your metalworking skills and experience) to get the sound level noticeably lower? Thanks!
There isn’t anything on the inside, it’s merely a smaller tube that is just deflected slightly down and away from the bike. I don’t know enough about restrictions both rules and exhaust for suggestions, sorry. I’ve seen videos of people putting steel wool in them but I don’t know the reality of that working…🤷🏻♂️ Sorry I couldn’t be more help, thanks for watching!
Can you embark on a months-long research and development project to fix my problem for me for free?? 😄 thanks for quick reply, and congrats on the machine 👍
I have a video called “detailed look at my Akrapovic…” you’ll see, There is a screw underneath the rubber piece at the bottom of the outlet of the exhaust. When the screw is removed, it still may be tight. I used a small tool with a hook at the end to go between the “honeycomb” holes at the end of the exhaust. But you have to pull a little then keep moving around pulling a little at each location. It’s very tight! Good luck! Thanks for watching!!
They’re made by Akrapovic. I purchased them and had them installed at the dealer I purchased the bike. If you go to Ducati.com and configure a Panigale v4, you’ll see the exhaust as one of the accessory options. Click on it and you’ll get the part number to order. 👍
@@Ducati_Grandpa pooohh I have looked at this ap and am thrilled, but also sad The Panigale V4 Normal price, but V4S dies incredibly much too expensive 😭 Have learned a lot thanks to your suggestion thank you Brother Heart 💪🏼☺️👍🏼🖤🍀🤍🧿 #MrRaffe
I’m using the Quad Lock Stem Mount Pro. Getting ready to do a video on it because yesterday my wireless charger was delivered for it. The “Pro” is an aluminum stem mount instead of their regular one that’s plastic. I love it! The only issue is their pieces don’t work on the stem of a Ducati. You have to use a wall anchor instead of their expanding piece.
IKR!!! 😂 I actually couldn’t believe it was available! My first three ideas were taken. Then, after a while of trying to think of something I tried it and was surprised! Choice right before this one was “ABCDEFU” but only allowed 6 characters lol Thanks for watching!
It didn’t really help, it just relocated the heat. lol I have actually felt more heat with this exhaust than I did with the stock exhaust. However, instead of the inner thighs, it’s your butt and back of legs. I think there are two advantages though…one, it does cool down quicker once you get moving…two, heated seat for the colder months lol 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Thanks for watching!
So you barelly feel any heat on your inner thighs now, or you still feel it but the heat on the back of your legs and butt is worse than the heat on your inner thighs?
@@mateidomnescu6285 no heat on inner thighs, all butt and back of legs. I think the heat now on my butt and back of legs was hotter than when it was on inner thighs with stock exhaust. However, only issue is when stopped in traffic for quite some time.
Yeah, same price no matter what dealer you get it from. A good amount of the price is also because Ducati supplies the UpMap since it’s a manufacturer upgrade. Thanks for watching!
AAAAAH YES..Nothing better than a Ducati V4S on Pitbull Stands, a nice cigar, sound of cicadas... Best combo.
I definitely feel blessed!

No it doesn't look better. Underslung Akropovic everytime, keeps the bike looking clean and not like a wheelbarrow. There's my thoughts.
