I agree. Gaps are so important. Did you include the thin OEM rubber washers between the body and the alloy fender?

Yep, they are still there but pretty worn out. 😁

@@wrenchrampage Even new ones get squashed to almost nothing when you tighten the bolt for the first time. But they do actually work as one was missing on my fender and that spot had corroded more than other spots on the fender

The one im using there is a 1mm spacer but it will be trial and error, some cars will require more OR less....
