Stockbridge Village Commercial

The following commercial was aired on a big screen outside John Lewis in Liverpool in October 2012. The film showcases Stockbridge Village - a small vibrant community in the heart of Knowsley, Liverpool, and attarcted passing customers in Liverpool City Centre.
Stockbridge Village has recently benefited from a £42m investment programme which has breathed new life into the entire area.
Through successful partnership working and the involvement of local residents, the estate has welcomed a new primary school and outdoor play area, an improved central shopping complex and a brand new neighbourhood centre boasting a library, café and leisure facilities.
Formerly hard to heat homes across Stockbridge Village have also reaped the benefits of the regeneration works thanks to the introduction of Merseyside's largest Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP).
The works -- funded by Villages Housing and partners including the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through Renewables and Energy Efficiency in Community Housing (REECH), British Gas, Scottish and Southern Electricity and Knowsley Council -- will deliver improved heating and both internal and external insulation measures to over 1600 properties when it completes early next year.
