Even her silhouette was reminiscent of the fashion towards the end of the era, which removed the bustles and poufy sleeves. Marie Antoinette belonged to the Rococo Era which was a completely different era that existed a century before the Gilded Age. After Rococo came Neoclassicism, these 2 eras often get confused with the Gilded Age and idk why, their fashion is completely different.

without the gloves it would have looked a bit more basic and not as opulent imo
