Animated shows for an instance always are working on new episodes that will be for the next season in the background. while releasing episodes for the first bach for their viewers in the meantime, so they don't have to do a big hiatus. that means they wont have to wait very long, but that's only when they get another greenlight for another season, I dont think CN delayed this show, but we REALLY have to look at how many goddam episodes are in ONE FULL SEASON...WHICH IS 40 DAMN EPISODES- that's honestly shocking. Honestly, we don't know that much behind production work, which is really sad because its so interesting. I think its coming down to how many episodes will be in season 2. Animated cartoon shows first seasons are usually 12-26 episodes, not usually up to 39 or more. Mao mao probably takes more time simply because of how many episodes are produced, so I would be grateful that we're even getting another season.
