Mayamma - M.S.Subbulakshmi - Ahiri raagam - Syama Sastri

My first non-personal upload to TH-cam. It is hard to resist sharing this classical masterpiece of Syama Sastri sung by my favorite singer MSS on my favorite deity Madurai Meenakshi rendered in one of my favorite raagams Ahiri.
The file info mentioned this was recorded at 1976 Bangalore concert. The audio starts with a viruttam (slokam) from Meenakshi Pancharatnam written by Adi Shankarar followed by actual Maayamma krithi composed by Shyama Saasthri at Madurai Meenakshi temple.
