I have to say, as a Texan this looks delicious!!!! For us, we use chili, garlic, onion, cayenne, and mexican oregano powder in the seasoning. We typically use sharp shedded cheddar cheese. For garnish, fresh cilantro, green onion, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes, avocado, iceberg lettuce, and salsa. Even here, the variations are endless.
I’ll say that fresh-chopped cilantro takes it to a whole other level. It’s an herb similar to parsley.

At the end when he said coriander, he meant cilantro. They call the whole thing coriander, while we use cilantro for the greenery.

Andy, thank you for your wonderful videos. You are such a joy to watch and learn from. I see that you have made kimchi fried rice. Have you ever heard of a Korean dish called Japchae. If so, could you add it to one of your video attempts of you find the dish to up to the culinary standards you share with all of us.
    Thank you,

Interesting. If you want to simplify it further get the small bag variety of chips. Open the side of the bag and layer the chips of your choice with meat and toppings. I believe they are called walking tacos. This is a great camping meal. Thanks for sharing!

I made yesterday with a few adjustments - instead of the camp fire I used an old car that was on fire beside my estate.
I changed the following ingredients and it was epic:
nacho chips for some crab claws
Seasoning for some organic carpark floor dust. (Its in season now)
    Pork mince for cabbage
Sauce I used a mix of tree sap, badger tears and liquidized pigeon feet
Everything else was the same except I cooked it all inside the burning tire of the car on fire - the residual heat was more than enough to cook the cabbage through and also add some additional smoky flavor.
Can't wait to try and emulate your next recipe.

Hello Andy: I saw the best taco video and just a note about tortillas. Fresh made tortillas are the bestest ingredient for a good taco, they are easy to make and especially good when you make them the old fashioned way with lard (good tasting is one thing, healthy is another). Another gamechanger is flour v corn. Some foods are better with flour, others with corn.

We don't really use a lot of cumin in Mexico and definitely not curry ... normally our meat "seasoning" is a good old slat and pepper, maybe some onions.

As a chef/student myself, I properly appreciate the effort you take into translating something that seems natural to you into a format that's digestible for anyone (I don't go camping much but fuck me I'm taking a dutch oven next time). Helps that you're such a lovely guy too! Side note: love the long-form content, have been watching since the beginning, and I really wanna learn more from you so don't be afraid to add some brief extra complexity/detail if it fits (e.g., why basil works here over coriander - even if it's just your opinion, it's an experienced opinion and much appreciatied)
