The Psalms helped me a lot when I first came to the Lord and they continue to bring me comfort in my Walk. When you read them you can see just how much David loved the Lord and had a heart for righteousness. Psalm 27 is my favorite. When he says, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple." I can relate so much to that desperate desire to just be near the Lord. Not caring about anything else but Him.
Thank you, once again for all the detail you add to the stories you tell from the Gospels , Davids story is one of my favorites because it shows that even with his strong love and faith in the Lord he still faltered but always accepted his guilt and it shows Gods mercy and faithful love, a good example of how to worship the Lord.
