the goofy in this mod (also known as “Friend”) is based on a youtube short of someone tearing off their goofy makeup, resulting in some pretty creepy imagery, and funny enough, some of his poses actually directly reference this short, like him pulling his ears in his down pose, and his snout in his upp pose
But the lore is completely original: This is not Goofy, it's a creature named "Friend", who's completely obsessed with Mickey, so Friend stole Goofy's appearance to be friends with Mickey. After Mickey got a new friend, Friend got mad and killed Donald, Mickey realised that "Goofy" wasn't the real Goofy and decides to confront him.

Found the actual lore
So what happened is that goofy was in disguise to be Mickey’s friend but when Mickey had a new friend then goofy turned in to his true form.
