Correct me if I'm wrong, but dosn't the table seems meet up underneath the corner road plate. To lower the Ninjago table should only require a couple of legs where you scoot the cabinet over and some support between the overhanging baseplates and the lowered table. Possible moc cave and/or sewer.
I buy 200 trans blue tiles every month or so for the last couple years...and don’t forget black plates underneath.... it’s expensive for both but it builds up each time I’ve got a heck load of them now over 5000! (Most of my city is Ninjago city builds and extensions.
I was going to again say about bricks at a 90° angle however the 2 interlocking 2×1 bricks could be used on it too. Either just 2 simple doors or multiple ruggid/rough folds on the entrance to Diagon Ally
A small change that makes such a huge and nice difference, the set really shines now and feels like it belongs in there, much better than its old place
Good change. You could rise it up like a mountain with water on top. In Asia you see many mountains. Then you add the sets on top. You can decorate the sides of mountain with trees and steps towards the top. Additionally you can add a zip line cart or sky car from the mountain to the park going over the city.
I have a great ideal for an addition to your layout. Specifically "The Boat Dock". You should have an underwater area. Have a small table under your "The Boat Dock" that could pullout when not in use.
Ciao from Italy! Suggestion: you can change in Water all the corner of the table and also a Little bit where Is the spring garden now. So there Will be a visual remainder of the beach corner And you can create a long suspended water railway. It Will look very Cool.
Minor note: ninjago city and docks use trans light blue tiles. It’s easy to get missed up between trans blue and trans light blue. Trans (regular) blue also looks pretty good directly on the blue base plates.
the lego city looks amazing i love how the water looks and i can't wait for the blue tiles to be added to it . you should also add the London bus to the roads if it is not to big and also the taxi and the tuck tuck if you are going to buy it.
I’m Happy For You That You Moved Ninjago City.... Similar To How You Had It Before On A River Which I Enjoyed.... It Was Hidden Away Before.... It Can Be Seen Now And You Have Much More Room At Your Dock.... Moving The Last Ninjago Piece Over Will Finalize It And Have The Bricksie Stamp Of Approval
The downtown buildings on the right side you will build in the future could also have the train line go threw them. Then you could make them full base plate size and have shops or like a built in path system connecting the buildings with shops and what not. Accessible from the street or train side.
I like how your downtown core has gained a Chinatown with these changes. All of the buildings are arranged really well right now and you've left yourself enough space for the May 2021 release of Ninjago Gardens. It's neat how you managed to integrate the little fishing shacks as a bridge between water and land, nice touch! Just the Temple is missing now and it would sure look good next to the new Chinese lattern garden that you just installed. The other big plus point of these adaptations is indeed the space you gained at the far end of the city for the expansion of the industrial area and larger docks. Placing some more cranes or custom mocs there (like your under construction warehouse) will spruce up that part of the city even more. I still think you have enough space for a small airport (or airfield) by adding a bit more table space next to the rail yard. But you might only want to tackle such a project, once everything else has been taken care of in half a year or so. Anyway, looks like your urban planning is bearing fruit and the city is headed in a great direction.
Really liking the new Ninjago placement. Not sure if you had this planned, but I'd suggest adding fences or at least capping off the gray retaining wall abound the Ninjago lake with tiles.
Looking good. When you elevate the train track how about having the water run right up to the edge of the table. Think it would be cool to have the train running over some water.
Bricksie I enjoy seeing you doing some problam solving on where to put the lego. You have a creative eye. Your content is amazing and I don't know what I would do without your conent.
If you move the Ninjago Temple near the other Ninjago you could build it up on a platform over the train tracks similar to you Disney Castle and them have a staircase up to it. It could look good with he rest of the skyscrapers, but I'm not sure how much room it would take.
You could have a little Chinatown in that corner where you placed the Ninjago city! Now I think that the Chinatown needs to look pretty packed and congested so good luck with that. Also, you could start by making mocs of small shopfronts and place them on the sidewalk around Ninjago City. This would give it a good look and will also cover the water a bit.
There are two ways you should go about building the "pond" in which ninjago city sits 1) use wedge pieces to give the pond a more circular -but not a perfect circle or oval, just round out the corners- and then add slopes and tiles and plants elements to make it look like a natural pond. 2) keep the square shape, but add some symmetrical tiles in a pattern around the edge of the pond and maybe add some decorative elements such as large lights or something I say this because for now the pond looks quite out of place, because there is not much of a transition from street/grass to water, and that transision (beach/cliff face) really helps emphasize that the blue is indeed water, and right now, especially because the blue baseplate differ slightly in colour from the trans-blue elements used to create the water around ninjago city, it is a bit tough to understand why or that there is a large pond in the middle of the city. Difinitly should add a wooden archway bridge going from the mainland to ninjago city, similar to the one on the lantern festival, just out of brown
If you have/get the Chinese New Year set (unfortunately retired now) it would look awesome next to the spring lantern festival and the stalls included in that set would be great for the alley leading to the second entrance
I do actually like this update but you could connect the city with the lego ninjago city with some kind of Asian like bridge 🌉 it would actually fit in pretty well bricksie 😃😃
I think I would move the Ninjago City over closer to the park, and I agree with adding the clear trans blue to get the water effect to look similar. By moving the entire model over a bit you will have more space to display more boats in the water way or other scenes on the water which I think will add to the effect of the area. It would be epic to lower the table down a bit. If you have a Dremel Multi Max you can cut into the table (fiber board) and lower down the water line, reusing what you cut out with brackets to hang it lower. Bummer that the seam is under the main road.
You should take apart the ninjago set, turn them into modulars and make a “chinatown” with the new spring festival set. Keep it up, I enjoy all your uploads! I hope your success continues in 2021!
You should make the wall that keeps the street from diagon alley, you should make it like have a rough top, that way it looks like it has fallen down..
You could put the Chinese New Year temple fair from 2020 between the small shacks from the temple of airjitsu and the new spring lantern festival set? The temple from that 2020 set is just a facade, so it'll be the right size for that space...
Good idea having a ninjago area by the downtown but I've had a thought. Can you put the fishing huts on a half baseplate? If so then you can move the pervillian of the lantern festival up against it and you'll have 1 baseplate to fit the temple and the moon gate could be the access for it.
The only thing I don't like about your city is the railway going around downtown core, you could put in next to the main street and then make a hill to put all your skyscrapers on, I think it would give it a nice feel also that would allow you to make a lake for Ninjago city
I think u should move the Ninjago set to the beach area and put the beach at the half base plate in the down town and stretch it the whole table length
Love the city update vids. Ninjago looks a bit out of place in its new position. I liked the idea of it being reserved for additional skyscrapers. I think it could potentially look epic over by the peoples beach up on the hillside overlooking the beach. Fun problem to have! Hope you try a few areas before settling on its location :)
Good aye Bricksie. A dib dib dib✌ I'd like to see a scout hall/camp with a flying fox haha. If anyone can do it it's you mate. I did Joey's, Cubs and Scouts in Western Australia, best camps of my life. Peace bro👍😎👍
maybe instead of those bricks around the water you could use the slope pieces in the same color and make a small dock off of the sidewalk in the city so other city goers can fish off of it or swim and what not
I think Ninjago city looks good at its new place, idea of a small chinatown is good. Though, couple of comments that were running through my mind: - You might want to have a gate to Chinatown as you see in some cities - you might want to mirror the springfall festival to have side exit/entrance at the other side. You can access the park via main road, and exit in downtown Chinatown; you might can even make a bridge over the main water to Ninajgo city. - I do not like the train running all around and encloses the water. You might want to consider let the train make a corner turn through the main city and have Chinatown across the railroad. This way the edge of your table is water.
i say that maybe put some Docs by the two fishing houses and tile it Dark Brown and Brown and make it look a bit Asiany and old but everything else looks good, Love the Mini LEGO city update and keep on going... aleks k. :)
Hi, why don't you mirror the lantern festival so that one moon gate meets with the sidewalk and the other into the body of water. Then rework the river of the festival to be the incoming stream into the pond with the other end going under your railway. Then ultimately have the moon gate that opens to the water access ninjago city's walkways, or via the temple's pathway..... Some food for thought.
have a look at aliexpress you can get building blocks that are abs plastic same size as lego and for the1500 pcs it costs you around $35 aus + shipping works out alot cheaper for large mocs rather than lego costs
Interesting update, I was listening to this using headphones and there was a little crunching early on in the video (I don't believe it was my headphones, I can't be sure though). Cheers
I feel like if you’re looking to add something to the body of water....some plants near and around the edges of the land.....just Google images of different bodies of water
Great update. I think the ninjago city is in a better place now.
Much better spot for Ninjago City! Have you considered moving the old fishing store to your beach area? It seems out of place in the industrial zone.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but dosn't the table seems meet up underneath the corner road plate. To lower the Ninjago table should only require a couple of legs where you scoot the cabinet over and some support between the overhanging baseplates and the lowered table. Possible moc cave and/or sewer.
You should turn the Ninjago city around. I know it wouldn’t look so good when you’re at your table, but it makes more sense
True
Maybe move the Spring Lantern Festival one half baseplate towards the fishing shack. It's a space saver.
I buy 200 trans blue tiles every month or so for the last couple years...and don’t forget black plates underneath.... it’s expensive for both but it builds up each time I’ve got a heck load of them now over 5000! (Most of my city is Ninjago city builds and extensions.
put the temple of spinjitsu next to the spring lantern festival I think it will look really good
I´m glad you put Ninjago city in a more prominent place. It deserves to be seen!
I think ninjago city gardens (the new ninjago city coming out in 2021) is a base plate and a half
Yes you are right it is. Its a 32x48 corner build
I was going to again say about bricks at a 90° angle however the 2 interlocking 2×1 bricks could be used on it too. Either just 2 simple doors or multiple ruggid/rough folds on the entrance to Diagon Ally
The new area looks awesome and a much better home for the ninjago sets
A small change that makes such a huge and nice difference, the set really shines now and feels like it belongs in there, much better than its old place

Bricksie your ninjago sets are too nice to be tucked away.. it has yo be CELEBRATED as a China Town... it adds sooo much colour
Make a brige from ninjago city to the normal road
Hey Bricksie, love the new spot for Ninjago City. Now you can enjoy it’s beauty while you are sitting at the desk 😊
I agree that ninjago city and ninjago city docks deserved a better display than being crammed in the corner of the docks area! Good job!
I think to accommodate the ninjago city sets that includes the gardens, you should have it raised up slightly and have the train track going under it
Minor note: ninjago city and docks use trans light blue tiles. It’s easy to get missed up between trans blue and trans light blue. Trans (regular) blue also looks pretty good directly on the blue base plates.
What you can do for lowering the table is build pillars under the city to have that be at the same level when at the same time the pond will be lower
the lego city looks amazing i love how the water looks and i can't wait for the blue tiles to be added to it . you should also add the London bus to the roads if it is not to big and also the taxi and the tuck tuck if you are going to buy it.

You could Terraforming around the lack to give it some more depth and make the water look a bit lower

Was at the LEGO store today.... FYI they are officially retiring the old street base plates!
Make a cool bridge reaching from the ninjago city from the two houses on the side.
If you are making the overhead traintrack you could use some of the turntable pieces for the turns
You need to buy set 80105, Chinese New Year Temple Fair to put next to the spring festival set. It would look great together.
I think you should add some street art to the Diagon Alley wall, just to make it look less like a big gray wall
There are two ways you should go about building the "pond" in which ninjago city sits

Difinitly should add a wooden archway bridge going from the mainland to ninjago city, similar to the one on the lantern festival, just out of brown
Have you tried making a custom ally way in your LEGO city you just for more detail and life I the city
Don’t forget to leave room for the gardens
Bricksie I think you should make the road and the water combine slowly by doing some grebiling
I like the position that the Lego ninjago city is in as well as the Chinese set 😁👍
Looks great Jordan!
I think it looks good. I have a suggestion. you should have a water fall going from the disney castle into a man made water seen
I think you should build a custom bridge leading to the road
I think I would move the Ninjago City over closer to the park, and I agree with adding the clear trans blue to get the water effect to look similar. By moving the entire model over a bit you will have more space to display more boats in the water way or other scenes on the water which I think will add to the effect of the area. Love the update. Bricksie you keep my mind stimulated with all the new concepts you you come up with keep up the great work.
I think you should get the Townhouse, Toystore set in the 3 in 1 series it’s a great build and it’s a corner building
Wow man incredible missed so much was inactive cant wait to watch ur vids again
Cool
Love your city i would have maybe had some space between some modulars for cool scenes like alleyways but its really good
You should consider some of the new Monkey Kid sets. Would tie in nicely with the Ninjago city.
More Ninjago stuff. Your city is looking better and better.
What about bringing the blue water to the edge of the table and making the train track on a bridge type thing kind of
You should add some decorative rock around it
You could put the Chinese New Year temple fair from 2020 between the small shacks from the temple of airjitsu and the new spring lantern festival set? The temple from that 2020 set is just a facade, so it'll be the right size for that space...

I don’t know I think I preferred it in the other area but I like that there is more water space
Any chance you could do a video about adding details around the water? I'm looking for ways to make water appear more natural in a city. Thanks!
The only thing I don't like about your city is the railway going around downtown core, you could put in next to the main street and then make a hill to put all your skyscrapers on, I think it would give it a nice feel also that would allow you to make a lake for Ninjago city

Move the tree covering the entrance to diagon alley so you can see it better
You should take out the blue base plates when you put the blue tiles at Ninjago City
I think u should move the Ninjago set to the beach area and put the beach at the half base plate in the down town and stretch it the whole table length

I love what you did in this update. Your the best TH-camr keep up the good work
I finally became a member!!
Cool, still gotta join.
maybe instead of those bricks around the water you could use the slope pieces in the same color and make a small dock off of the sidewalk in the city so other city goers can fish off of it or swim and what not
Move the tree that is covering the entrance to diagon alley, so you can see it better
Awesome update, the ninjago city looks awesome in that spot, all the best and keep on bricking
I say move the road and hospital and avengers tower to the back and make that corner a China Town core
I would also move the Temple of Airjitzu into the same area.
I think the ninjago structures look better in downtown. Looked outta place at the harbour. I would try and make the water path more narrow
The city is very special
You should rase the ferris wheel but not as high as the Disney castle
You should build a deep sea centre in the docks.
I think Ninjago city looks good at its new place, idea of a small chinatown is good. Though, couple of comments that were running through my mind:
- You might want to have a gate to Chinatown as you see in some cities

- I do not like the train running all around and encloses the water. You might want to consider let the train make a corner turn through the main city and have Chinatown across the railroad. This way the edge of your table is water.
Also the old fishing store I still think belongs with the Chinese and ninjago area
U should add some little Chinese food stalls on the way to the gardens
i say that maybe put some Docs by the two fishing houses
and tile it Dark Brown and Brown and make it look a bit
Asiany and old but everything else looks good, Love the Mini
LEGO city update and keep on going...
aleks k. :)
thats prolly my fave chinese new year set

Fun fact: There can’t be two first’s
i know its just i did it when the video was 27 SECONDS OLD
So?
Fun fact: when did anyone ask
@@StuartR. but what does it matter when you’re first
@@nathanjoosten6685 i just never am so i wanted to try
That New Year set doesn’t look like something Lego would make. It looks more like a MOC
have a look at aliexpress you can get building blocks that are abs plastic same size as lego and for the1500 pcs it costs you around $35 aus + shipping works out alot cheaper for large mocs rather than lego costs
That looks really nice!

I feel like if you’re looking to add something to the body of water....some plants near and around the edges of the land.....just Google images of different bodies of water
Maybe raise the train tracks so you can finish off the corner
You need to expand that city
I could lower that portion of the table.
Great Lego city Update! Like!
Look amazing
Good job man keep it up
I think you should put it back where it was
