In the Games her Abilities come from the Old English Renard Family being contracted through their Bloodline with the Four Celestial Beasts from ancient times. But her Origins are much different here, She obviously not from the og Renard Family, because their English, and Her Mother Tera is a Russian Speaker and Her Father is French.

She's not that strong yet but I like her fighting style, and excited for her fight developments. I just realized she imbues magic on the summons to enhance their strength, like when the birds glow, they're wings can cut skin and when the summons are injured she uses magic to heal them. The birds are mainly used as projectiles, aggro and transportation. The tiger is used as the main damage dealer. The tortoise is used as a shield, surprise attack, and also transportation in water. I wonder how she'll use the dragon 🤔 Maybe after some training she can use the turtle more actively so she can shield some attacks while other summons go for the attack. Iirc her saturn version also has invincibility, and guardian knuckle

As soon as I saw the way she makes magic I just immediately thought about the Owl House. And then the scene at 3:26 reminded me of the first "Lilith vs Eda" fight and 3:37 reminded me of the fight against Grom when Amity basically does the same thing.

I think i was MOST excited to see Maria this series. My first encounter with her was SOTN and i was intrigued ever since. In the game shes way more powerful than Alucard, maybe when shes matured in the series she'll rival his power

Didn't she use doves as her regular attack in the game? (She does in Castlevania DS) Can't wait to see if she summons the Azure Dragon in Season 2. Though is kinda funny she cannot harness the raw elements by themselves like her mother does and it's instead through the summons. I know a previous commenter mentioned it could be due to her father being a devil forgemaster, but I feel he just found the machine and managed to make it work, instead of having the natural talent of Hector and Isaac.

It’s possible she’s more closely tied to the Belnades Clan as Sypha’s descendants with Trevor have incorporated magic into their bloodline on top of the destiny fighting evil started by Leon. When the Dark Priest Shaft kidnapped her he tried to perform a ritual to bring out her powers. If you find the key as Richter and her cell you can stop the ritual and unlock a nearly unstoppable 12 year old Maria as a playable character.
