Hi Kris, awesome video. Can I ask does the recipient have to create their own account in Hik Connect app or do they log in with the sharers username & password, to ultimately share access to the cameras. Thanks very much. Greetings from Greece
Hi John, Yes, the recipient will need to register for a Hik-Connect Account. You can log into multiple devices using the same username and password, however, we don't recommend this as you will then have no control over who can access each device as it's all the 1 account. Hi, if I have a setup of 3 cameras; how to give access of different camera to different person. Also I don't want to give them option to see recording, they should see just live streaming. How is it possible please?
Hello Sharad, Thanks for the comment. Yes, if you refer to the video at 3:50, you will note the section that displays how you can select appropriate cameras to share with each user. Therefore, each user will need to register for an account, then you share the selected cameras with each person that you would like. Once you watch through to 4:18 you will notice the "Permissions" part, where you can remove the options, only leaving 'Live View'. We hope that assists you.

what can i do if the device already added to visitor account?
Hello. If you have added the device to a visitor account, you will need to delete the device from this account, register for an account and re-add the device to the new account. If you are unable to gain access to the visitor account anymore, you will need to have a technician "Unbind" the device, this will then remove all existing access to the system and allow the device to be added. - Hope this helps.
It keeps asking for the verification code and it says if it’s not set up yet it should be on the label behind the device but I’m not sure which one. Ive tried every number but it didnt work!

Hello. We are based in Australia and are not sure if it's the same process in all countries. We would suggest contacting a registered Hikvision installer in your country.

Hello. We suggest you contact your Installer of the system. However, if you have received the system by sharing, we would suggest you check the master users phone as they may have unselected specific cameras for sharing access. Thank you
