Very nice to see the culture of Nepal. The basic hindu customs remains same. Carrying of girl and boy is there in Tamil Brahmin marriage also. Here only one is carrying. But in TN, the uncles and brothers of both boy and girl have to lift them on their sholders and they will exchange garlents.
