I have finally finished my first pair of socks in the gorgeous paw ply yarn that you had sent me last year, it took me weeks to do the first sock, I dreaded doing my first heel, but once I got that heel done I had the foot finished in no time and 3 days later I had a wonderful pair of socks, I already have my next pair cast on , you will have your sock mojo back before you know it. Hi Ruth, Happy Belated Birthday wishes 😊 I forgot to comment last time I'll blame my age I was 50 in Feb! I have been knitting for a very long time not that my work would reflect it 🤣 But I don't care, it doesn't matter what I make what yarn I use or if anyone likes it I l just love it. I pick up my needles and go arrrhhhh like slipping into a lovely warm bath. Nothing else matters, if I don't have my knitting I yearn for it, to get home and back to it. I also crochet and recently got a sewing machine and enjoy altering clothes. Keep the podcasts coming I really enjoy them your natural and friendly approach is just brilliant xx

Ruth your such an enabler 😁😁i have spent a lovely day watching your videos, pen and pad in hand as i always always need them when im watching you. i have just nipped onto ravelry and bought the noncho pattern and as soon as ive finished the shawl im doing now i will cast it on 😁. I tend to go up to bed fairly early ish , it is just easier with my fur babies, anyway last winter i found my arms getting a bit nippy while i was knitting in bed and watching tv, im not comfy wearing a cardigan in bed and then boommm you come up with the perfect suggestion ❤The noncho. i can't wait to get it started and hopefully if it fits me well a few more will be made to. love love love your videos, your a wonderful, talented, funny lady and a pleasure to watch. sincerly sam xx

I ply them over and over for motivation to work on all the garments I started, color work , cables etc,, I m looking for something relaxing, I’m so excited!! I bought the mindful shawl pattern!! She is sold out of the yarn , but I ordered Rowan moor sale in a few colors, 100 gr skeins, I bought two each, and I have single DK skeins I bought for hats, that I’d rather use for something else, that I hope to use as well !! You always have great stuff to show, and we love the way you present!! Thank you for helping me to use some of the ridiculous yarn purchases I’ve made🤣. Happy Easter!!

Hello Dear Ruth ! Another Wonderful visit ! Thank you , I truly enjoy each one. I wonder if you are doing Isabel Kramer's ' Angels and Cowboys ' bandana type shawl ? I did it this Fall and it is a FAAABULOUS shawl. Also, my sister and I on our Rescue Farm have 2 of those sweet Donkeys you speak of - they are full bothers, 'Giovanni and Giuseppe ' . These donkeys with the cross are also called Sicillian Miniatures. There is a VERY SWEET printed legend about them that you spoke of that we have framed in our barn. The very Donkey that Jesus rode in on was at the cross, so sad was this donkey that he could no longer bear looking upon Jesus, he turned away in great sadness. It was then that the shadow of His cross was imprinted upon that Donkey. I think of this every time I brush the boys - they are VERY SWEET Donkeys by nature , VERY devoted to each other ,and to the Farm. We absolutely love them . I've currently got my hair dyed red from a test kit after it was purple and will soon be back to that once this grows out a bit. I made meriechen last year with miss baby hand dyed yarns ina dusty pink speckle yarn. Beautiful but can’t imagine doing it in a dark color. Takes some concentration though

Dear Ruth, an inspirational podcast as always!! I ply them over and over for motivation to work on all the garments I started, color work , cables etc,, I m looking for something relaxing, I’m so excited!! I bought the mindful shawl pattern!! She is sold out of the yarn , but I ordered Rowan moor sale in a few colors, 100 gr skeins, I bought two each, and I have single DK skeins I bought for hats, that I’d rather use for something else, that I hope to use as well !! You always have great stuff to show, and we love the way you present!! Thank you for helping me to use some of the ridiculous yarn purchases I’ve made🤣. Happy Easter!!

Hello Dear Ruth ! Another Wonderful visit ! Thank you , I truly enjoy each one. I wonder if you are doing Isabel Kramer's ' Angels and Cowboys ' bandana type shawl ? I did it this Fall and it is a FAAABULOUS shawl. Also, my sister and I on our Rescue Farm have 2 of those sweet Donkeys you speak of - they are full bothers, 'Giovanni and Giuseppe ' . These donkeys with the cross are also called Sicillian Miniatures. There is a VERY SWEET printed legend about them that you spoke of that we have framed in our barn. The very Donkey that Jesus rode in on was at the cross, so sad was this donkey that he could no longer bear looking upon Jesus, he turned away in great sadness. It was then that the shadow of His cross was imprinted upon that Donkey. I think of this every time I brush the boys - they are VERY SWEET Donkeys by nature , VERY devoted to each other ,and to the Farm. We absolutely love them . Hello Ruth, I love bright colours especially your 2 shawls but i couldn't surround myself in yellow lol, my favourite colours are red, blue & purple. I've currently got my hair dyed red from a test kit after it was purple and will soon be back to that once this grows out a bit. I made meriechen last year with miss baby hand dyed yarns ina dusty pink speckle yarn. Beautiful but can’t imagine doing it in a dark color. Takes some concentration though
