📌 VAL GRANDE '44, HISTORY OF THE ROUND-UP
The idea to make the documentary came after reading a book by Nino Chiovini entitled 'Mal di Val Grande'.
I decided to start this project to try to tell you what I have discovered, and what many people still ignore, about this beautiful park.
Given the sensitivity of the subject, I would like to point out that in these videos I wanted to focus only on the historical account of the events, without any allusion to any messages of political ideals that might arise from the story.
When telling the story, bear in mind that the testimonies given may be inaccurate, especially with regard to numbers and dates, as they were often given several years after the events.

Buongiorno Stefano, ho visto gli ultimi due capolavori della serie. Spero che non passino inosservati! Un lavoro così minuzioso e impegnativo merita di essere divulgato non solo a livello locale, ma in conferenze, ricorrenze, scuole...di tutta Italia. L'episodio 10, con i suoi retroscena finali rende l'idea di quanto lavoro ci sia dietro le quinte per realizzare e montare il filmato. Molto bella e umile anche l'intervista al tuo nonno. Bravi tutti, siete grandi!!!

Ho scoperto il tuo canale solo qualche giorno fa, mi ha colpito molto e mi sono subito iscritto. Ma questo documentario è incredibile, un lavoro immenso e realizzato benissimo. Sicuramente la storia di partigiani che più mi ha colpito, sia per la forza del racconto sia perché sono luoghi che saltuariamente frequento da qualche anno, e di cui ignoravo la nobile storia. Grazie, nel mio piccolo farò il possibile affinché questa testimonianza arrivi a tutti.
