No doubt about it... they were tops!!! Takes me back every time to my young, impressionable teenage years. Nothing can ever compare. Good Times and Great Music! ❤ Happy Sunday 🕊 Thank you for sharing! 💖
Friday and Saturday nights in 1976 was my skate nights. When they called for a couple skate, and this was the song. Had to grab me a lady and skate. I always skated backwards, thinking abought it now, beautiful memory. Jodi, Norma, Susan, Rebecca. And yes, Marry and Angie. Thank you @TheMidnightSpecial for the memory. Please can you upload this on the Members Page. If so, I would be in Midnight Special Heaven
They weren't lip synching when they recorded the song!! It's their song and Lionel's lead singing. So there isn't anything lip synching to one's OWN song..especially if you want it sound like the original recording. Cause they can't sing the same way twice. There are some that sing their songs live and they actually sound better than the recording. They did good on this , singing it live.

Yay! So glad they did it live! That was the slow dance song for many high school dances! Beautiful! 😊💜
The Commodores, Good 70s soul music. Can't be beat by any of today's music.
I felt my soul being soothed as I was listening to that.
1 of the greatest openings for a song pure classic
Great music the 70s some of THE BEST MUSIC AND ENTERTAINERS EVER! THE COMMODORES❤❤❤❤
Love the bass on this song, at the right volume. Not overpowering the rest of the music. one of the best bass players.
Ronald LaPread is one of the best!!
Great performance. Great song. I remember the mirrors on the clothing back in the day
Outrageous💃🎶
Great memories ❤❤❤

A young Lionel Richie.
In their prime. "So much val-ya..no direction..no puy-pus"
That’s my favorite part 😂

Look no lip-sync, people said they always lip-sync back then. I don't see it.

You better complete that sentence with a “not.”
Nice job, fellas, but you know, it could have used a little more treble. ...
