Yes... and I have had good results getting placements by cutting my vocal at around 2 kHz which inadvertently brings the lows, mids, and highs up without having to boost them, and gives room for the dialog. I learned...it's better to cut than boost, which helps in many aspects. 🎉😊

Is it possible you might have time to perhaps provide an example or a link to an example? Perhaps a "before and after?" (i.e., "this is what was presented and this is how it was modified for sync"). Or - is it in one of the tutorials? Thanks for your insight and advice - it's very much appreciated.
Great video! I never would have considered doing a sync mix. I usually focus heavily on the vocals because I use my music to tell stories, and I feel that helps convey the emotion more effectively.
