Lovely video - you have taken me back to 1995/6 when I went over to Germany by bike with my mate Mike. The first year we made good progress to get into Germany but the second time Mike had her indoors riding pillion so we lowered the pace and camped mid and Southern France - Toll Roads in the day then turned off later afternoon to enjoy the country lanes and villages were fantastic riding - the local village bar with steak and pommes frites for evening dinner with a beer then back to the tent - happy days they were. No Sat Nav, just a paper map in a waterproof sachet on top of the tank bag
It is a bit easier today with GPS that’s for sure I do remember fixing guide notes to my petrol tank Effective as long as you didn’t miss a term of course
Bayeux is a lovely old town, 8:26 we got lost in exactly the same place looking for the tapestry, we think it's just poorly signposted. Mont Saint Michel is a must see and better visited early in the day when it's quieter.
Well it used to be easier to find but was planned to be coming to the uk at one point so I think it was scaled back somewhat We have visited Min San Michelle previously. This time we did the route in reverse so only hit the town section later At peak season it hangers very busy quite early in the day
Thank you, Sir, a wonderful insight into the Normandy area. One, we never see on travel shows. You did prove that going to a travel hot spot is the same everywhere. Just enjoy the view & forget about the cue. I thought I saw a tavern sign, then realized the motorcycles & even 1% alcohol could be the kiss of death. Such is the need to keep your total concentration, these days, whilst riding.
Thanks for taking me along on your adventure. Beautiful county indeed. Not as beautiful as the UK. 😁 Be safe out there and have an awesome time. Cheers
Oh you need to piss your money away on an HD or GS ? Don’t be stupid We toured France the first time in a Harley, it was garbage Terrible tank range uncomfortably crap The Honda you see in the video replaced it because it’s much better Is Stupid a word, yes I think it is 😂😂😂😂 I wonder why people feel they need very large bikes 🤔 You may notice one of the bikes is a BMW and like so many bikes from that particular company it was something of a disappointment.
Oh dear - so you have zero knowledge of a Moto Guzzi ? Give me an idea of a marque that you might consider to be worthy of your arse ? Try almost anything ? What does this mean ? Riding in France ???? Britt ? It's Brit . You are just showing your complete and circumspect ignorance. Go back to watching Eastenders. Cringeworthy.

France has its moments though
The Alps springs to mind
We don’t have anything on That scale
I admire Britt willingness to try almost anything, but, these bikes are kind of cringy. Is "cringy" a word?
