I do think we need to normalise monogamy within the gay community. I don't think young gays should be catapulted into a universe of polyamorous unsafe sex being their only option, and for a lot of young gays it is put forward- by those who only want it for themselves- as a regularised paradigm. Yes, people are unfaithful. Yes, many straight men are cheating on their wives via Grindr. It doesn't mean monogamy cannot be successful, gay or straight.
