- BurJuman is one of the oldest shopping malls in Dubai, in the residential area of Bur Dubai, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is developed and owned by Al Ghurair Group. The distinctive landmark comprises over 2.8 million square feet of mixed-use space including the shopping mall, business tower, hotel suites, and duplex residences. The BurJuman Metro Station entrance, which is near the North Wing, offers visitors a close and convenient link to the mall. Located in Bur Dubai, the Burjuman Mall is a popular shopping destination and a spot for families and friends to hang out together. The exciting range of events, activities, and things to do in Burjuman mall makes it one of the top 10 malls in Dubai.

Watching the decline of Burjuman is shocking indeed. I was there last in February 2019 and it is sad to see that things have only got worse. Most of the stores in Old Burjuman are closed. This is the mall which used to be home to high end brands such as Versace, Tod's, Armani, Paul Smith etc when Dubai Mall was still a construction site.
I have fond memories of having lunch in the food court daily when I used to work on the Bank St between January 2005 and February 2007. Good old days. Now this magnificent mall has become a parking lot for residents of Bur Dubai and Karama
