Thanks for watching! The Marlins seem to be officially cursed in 2024. They went into the season, with an elite top of the line rotation. But everyone has since then gotten injured. Sandy Alcantara is out all season. Edward Cabrera, Braxton Garrett, and more are started the year on the injured list... and it seems to be a problem. My only explanation: The Marlins are cursed.

As someone who lives in South Florida. It baffles me how consistently low attendance is at Marlins Park. The Miami Marlins are now the least appreciated professional sports franchise in South Florida. I am so the thankful the Florida Panthers have finally turned it around.
What exactly is baffling about it? They're always a terrible team unless they're trying to get a new stadium and once they do the owners do a fire sale of the players. South Florida and now seen several owners following the same scumbag playbook of putting a AAA team on the field and just collecting the revenue sharing money without providing a professional product for anyone to watch.
@@2011bluemanmarlins are the last team in Florida to get a new stadium. Heat have always been a good team and panthers have been average playing in the same stadium for years. Dolphins always spend money on players but they never produce.
@@2011blueman The Marlins have existed for the same amount of time as the Panthers. Marlins have been World Series champions. The Florida Panthers have yet to win a Stanley Cup. I don't understand that even with a championship history, a new stadium, a market that should in theory support baseball. They are consistently this bad and have attendance issues.
What sucks about their attendance being nonexistent is that they have one of the nicest stadiums in the MLB
@@camdudzinski5206 baffling? My family goes back to the 1940s in S FL when my grandparents on both sides moved to Miami. Growing up I was a Dolphin fan but most sport nuts in school hated the Dolphins. Too many people live here from all over the USA and world and could care less about the home team.
And as far as the Marlins go they dont play to win , they always trade away their top players. In 2018 after they traded Stanton, Yelich and Ozuna most of us fans said we had enough and dont care. Theyll lose over 100 games this year and nobody will notice. They also have the worst management . They are nothing more than a glorified Farm Team for MLB.

It sucks, theyll spend more money on lawyers to stiff you in arbitration than players to win a championship in some cases. On a rebuilding team, it's harder to make friends and memories with a revolving door of young guys and castaways.

imma be honest, I feel really good about this season for some reason. I think mainly it has to do with the culture change that started last year when Skip became manager, although we have injuries and lost my GOAT Soler, I think we will make the playoffs this year. Arraez will need to be very productive again this year and we need Jazz to stay healthy (I think hes gonna be a monster this year), and if Anderson can get back on his feet and not decide to lost fights this year I think it will be a shocking plus. we traded away Berti yesterday which imo was really good. Consitering last year for most the season our infield consisted of Berti Stallings Arraez(only positive) Segura and Gurriel, to this season having Bethancourt Bell Arraez Anderson and Burger is a blessing. Ik im like D1 Yapping rn but yea I think were gonna shine this year regardless of the setbacks.

The Marlins have the potential, i’m just not sure how its gonna go. Jazz staying healthy all year I think would be a major step 1. And the rotation somehow managing their way throughout the injuries
