I had a massive consciousness shift literally a few days ago and I am so awake. I could never go back. I'm more awake than I have been in all my life. But it's a calm knowing, and I just feel happier in life.
I’m curious, why do people who believe in this choose to pick out certain things from the Bible like this but ignore other things such as the fact that calling yourself God is blasphemy? I’m not attacking anyone, I am just confused why you guys do this.

I hear you. I have been a Christian since I was very little. A lot of things happened that nearly destroyed me. Then once I entered into recovery two years ago, I began learning that modern Christianity is very watered down and much of its history is suppressed etc. I decided to ask the holy Spirit to teach me all things, as Christ said it would when we receive it. I've found that religion only lets its followers get to a certain point in knowledge and acts like a gatekeeper of faith. So once you grow up spiritually, it doesn't work for you anymore. I decided to throw out all my limiting beliefs and dependency on others to teach me the way. I started by simply doing a dedication every day and asking for wisdom. I do this every day still and the spirit is teaching me. Everyone has a different journey and I believe you are on the right path, just being here and asking the questions you're asking is a good sign. I hope this helps in some way and I pray you stay encouraged.
