- Hey everyone! Today I am mowing a lawn I found while driving through a nearby neighborhood. The occupants went on vacation, then the husband had surgery on his shoulder when they returned. The grass got a little tall and he has to keep his arm in a sling for another 2 weeks. So, I offered to mow the lawn for them. This way the lawn will be manageable in 2 weeks and not a foot tall!

I just want to thank you so much for helping us out . Although many have speculated about why our lawn had gotten so bad and our priorities we would like to clarify that our priotities are in the right place my husband is a teacher and I work as a social worker . He was in a car accident, which left him with chronic shoulder pain . We also just had a baby and I myself have been unable to go outside to assist with yardwork. We bought this house and the pool has had leaks which causes it to be green as the filter does not always run efficiently. I urge everyone to speak kindness into the world as you may not know the circumstances of people and thank people like Mr. BIGLIN which was a godsend and gave us leeway to be able to get back on track .

A friend had a similar issue with their pool. They hired a scuba diver to come in and go over every part of the pool. He finally found the issue.
Hoping your husband is feeling better. Kindness goes a long way - and your family has a lot on your plate. You have a lovely home and garden and I bet the projects you do together will make it even better. Fixer uppers are full of possibilities 😊

Life gets in the way sometimes and it's hard to get to. Neighbors should be more giving and helpful our neighbor was so nice to come help us when my husband fell and broke his hip he just came and did it. Really appreciate it. So we all go through ruff days. Thankful for those who take the time to help out ❤

I can smell the fresh cut grass from here! Have you ever notice that when you start mowing your grass, pretty soon your neighbor is mowing theirs. The people that are able will get out and mow their grass! Good job, keep up the good work!

Push mower with catcher will almost always return a better result. A tip for tall lawns like this with bag: cut the first pass on high and bag it but then come back and lower the mower a couple of steps and do it again as a finishing pass. Or a third or forth pass depending on the situation. Changing direction on each pass will also add to the finished result and don't forget you can also do diagonals if you want to.

Once again, an excellent job and I think the push mower did a great job. (I did worry about how difficult it was mowing where the super tall grass was, and the ground seemed very bumpy. At my house, that's moles. Maybe the big mower first and the push mower after to pick up clippings?) Anyway, you are the best at picking up all the clippings and although I watch others, you are still my favorite. Kudos.

Hey Young Man ! The yard is a wreck, the patio screens are missing AND the pool is GREEN !!! Sad when people have a home with a luxury item like a pool and it goes green. Such a shame. I lived down there for 34 years, and worked IN a pool store for a while, when I was a teen ager.
AND you walked the lawn like a BOSS !!! I guess you had your "Wheaties" this morning. Well Done.

Looks great! I prefer this lawn mower because it doesn't cut so deep and it leaves the lawn still looking green while the other ones turn it brown and not as appealing.

Nice gesture helping these people out. I believe the blade on that push more and need some sharpening in the front you left right much. Maybe it's me I don't know you're not finished yet maybe you were going to ride later I don't know but definitely that push more blade need some sharpening

I would always use a "Push Mower" on the Front Yard to insure that "Polish Look" every time. Unlike a riding mower that just throws everything up and everywhere.
Not to Mention right into that "Swimming Pool"( Have You ever had to get rid of GRASS out of a"Swimming Pool).
I had to, it's Not Fun!

Looks like you trimmed the dead palm fronds without videoing it. Which is okay, not throwing shade here. Just know that it was noticed.
