I wanted them to do walter so bad, I am really annoyed with people backlashing about it. What I can understand backlash for is powercreep, but in terms of character it makes so much more sense for the story to give alters to characters that have as much character and backstory as her
W is one heck of a karma houdini. She has spilt rivers of blood but she still seems to have found contentment and status. I feel she should have had a longer redempton arch.
Which makes her high horse position in regards to the doctor really annoying, imo.

I still don’t understand why some people hate that W getting a alter because she is a 6* Operator. I mean bruh, is there any rule that 6* Operators can’t get a alter for their own? That is their evolution in their own story and etc

It's not the fact that she's a 6*. It's the fact that she's a Limited Op. And her alter is also Limited. It's hard enough to get OG W. I personally don't mind since I got W.

If you copy Japanese manga, which most are trash actually, then yes Chinese manga is trash.
Copying is easy. Making the copy stuff become legend is way harder. And 99% people will choose the easy way.
Everything was so good! I just cannot help pointing out that frag grenades do not produce explosions. Frag grenades were built to have a small explosion inside the grenade to launch shrapnel at extremely high velocities. There wouldn't be a fireball as the explosion to launch the metal shards would be too small.
W-walter looks kinda slick though.
Way I saw it, the grenade itself wasn't what caused the big ole fireball, not by itself anyways. With how the scene was shot, they drew specific attention to the grenade landing on that massive backpack, implying it caused a chain reaction with whatever was inside.
The scene playing out just before that, which unless I'm forgetting what that could be referencing I consider to be showcasing a separate group of Sarkaz mercs hunting down the assassins with W now just looking through the wreckage for the dog tags, also gives some level of credence to that if you ask me. The sacrificial charge towards the person with the backpack leading to such a massive explosion that it ripped the roof off that part of the hallway which it smoothly transitions over into.
Whether this is the same backpack (Charge intended to blow it up but failed, yet still caused the explosion it did, showcasing how devastating it could've been) or a different backpack (Charge blew backpack up, which given how close the person charging got feels likely, second backpack was outside of the effective range and hence left intact), it instills the idea that the backpack possibly played a role in either the decision making or the explosion itself. Alternatively he just charged in as far as he could to take out as many of them as possible and I'm focusing far too much on the backpack, giving it more importance than it truly has, which is entirely plausible!
I just subscribe to the idea that everything in animation is there for a reason, so long as said animation is handled by a competent team at least. Hence me choosing to believe that the above is the idea they meant to get across rather than thinking they went with a Hollywood frag explosion for style points.

Well a lot of the weapons in arknights (specially the ones that cause explosions) aren’t normal, most of them are enhanced with originium and arts.

Maya I think.
One app alone can hardly make a production level CG animation, it involved multiple if not dozens software.
However all 3D related studios will use Maya in some ways or forms in the process. The other software may vary from studio to studio.

Yes. She had basically gone mad for a period pursuing anyone who had a part in Theresa's assassination.

this is cool animation, but i don't understand what the story was
After Theresa's death, W had gone mad for a period of time, killing anyone who had a part in her assassination.
The animation is in that period where W is going after a group of mercs that are carrying something to the border.
After dealing with the group one after another, W slowly realizes the "something" they carry is actually a kid. Those mercs are protecting this kid, trying to get the kid out of this war waging country.
After killing the merc's boss who is the kid's father, the kid picked up his father's knife against W.
For a Sarkarz merc, picking up a dead man's knife means inherit his name to continue the suffer as a merc.
So it became a loop.
W inherited former W's knife and name, thought killing or being killed are the ways of life, until Theresa showed her a different way.
Now her revenge just made another kid picking up a merc's knife, thus the abrupt end: time to ponder.

I bet it's Mudrock, white hair Sarkaz horns, and dedicated for revenge
