i think for the sun alter it started passing time because you broke it! so it you place it down and set the time its locked to that time until the sun alter is broken! could be wrong but it would be easy to check since just place it down set it so the sun is directly above you at noon and if it moves while the alter is still placed then it is just to set the time but if thats the case try giving it a redstone pulse and see if that will reset the time to what you placed! it might have redstone affect it too
Suggestion if you are having trouble with the Sun boss in the Aether, unless they've changed it you can place blocks in the arena. Fill the bottom and top layers in, leaving a two block open field to fight in. Keeps the ice balls from missing on the z-axis which saves a bit of the frustration.
first and great vid dude I have been playing along side you and dude its so fun you did a good job with this pack I have automated the farming of the black death from the rats mod and I have built a very nice wither skeleton farm I have like 5k wither skulls
Is there any way to make the aether portal like a second entrance to the base ? , just like how you made the nether portal entrance, it would look really cool
Chosen i was wondering if theres a way to disable the shaders because my gaming laptop can run it..but not very well. Its quite choppy but i couldnt figure out how to do it

I feel that the day and night cycle is what makes you appreciate beauty of the realm lol definitely not a bad thing that you can’t lock the time

its in the quest and explains how you need to hit 'o' on the keybord and disable the shaders easy in that menu

Been playing this for a few days. A few of the mobs are kinda broken. I got hit with slowness and binding for 2.5 hrs.
So im trying to pin point what is causing that issue... I dont really know what mob is doing this and if I dont get a bug report I cant fix things
