Proof that my bike does leave the North West occasionally!

Excellent, thank you. Rode it last week and was fab. Remember the railway in the 60's on holiday with my parents

I have been using this route a lot recently for running. It’s such a lovely route.

Lovely 👍 my home patch and the reason we moved here! There’s some cycling infrastructure in the south of Barnstaple too, just enough to get around by bike, bus and train. The local campaign is busy working, recruiting and campaigning for more. The train station and bus stops are having a revamp outside, and I’m trying to get the signposts improved, it’s currently a kind of mash up between Southwest coast path, Tarka Trail and public paths 😂

Interesting ride. Enjoyed the benches and what appeared to be covered shelters along the bike path at the beginning of the journey.

Nice to see the old former railway line turned into a public footpath and cycle route. Perhaps more people should cycle more to reduce carbon emissions and to reduce Co2 emissions which is the leading cause of climate change. Because cycling is good for the environment.
