    How does drinking water get to the bay area?? Um you have to pay for it.

      Technically that is not correct. You pay _California Water Service_ for the delivery, but you are not actually purchasing the water. The water is a public resource, and you're paying for the "service" not the "water".

    The East Bay water supply comes from the Mokelumne River (mo-kal-a-me), which flows into the Pardee Reservoir (30 miles northeast of Stockton) and is transported to the East Bay via the Mokelumne Aqueduct that passes through Stockton, Brentwood, Concord and then into the Lafayette Reservoir above Oakland.

    "How does drinking water get to the Bay Area?" Well for most people it comes out of the tap or bottles you buy at the grocery store, same place they get their meat & veggies.

    If it's tap water it's probably ran through a sewer treatment plant were your drinking toilet water
