  • The recently-launched Ora Good Cat grabbed headlines this week with seriously attractive pricing, making it the cheapest electric vehicle in Malaysia. But what is it like to live with, and can it live up to its adorable good looks, impressive kit, and outrageous range claims? As Jonathan finds out, you shouldn't read too much into the specs...

The car has a very good voice control system that controls many functions and from a UK presenter understands many English accents. Also here in NZ we have a Thai import Ora Cat and it's UI was silky smooth, it's the indicators that were a pain to use

I had test drive local unit of ora good cat, the infotainment ui is different from this video shown, maybe you guys could try approach gwm sales to have a look on the differences, malaysia model infotainment has no one paddle options by the way i dont know why 😅

The one-pedal mode is still there, but it's not in vehicle settings-it's hidden in a separate menu for the battery. That's how convoluted the UI is.

At least he's honest about it unlike a lot of popular "car journalist" but too afraid to give real consumer advice because they are afraid they will not make the car companies happy.

Don't expect much for something that's cheap, especially if it's cheap & then "CCP Made" too. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I don't think it is worth buying. Paying that much for a Myvi spec, not worth
