You can't win without luck. Since he managed to handle 3 way all in with Jacks against QQ and KK.
You don't go all in with JJ at that hand with 3 card haier then yours
@@PaulCiprian-y7byou do whatever you feel like doing lol
That shove with Jacks was objectively bad…poker is stupid
It was a bad move I thought as well
same with life bro.. the harder you work, the luckier you get.
6.5 million for second, not to bad at all. Congratulations.
Chopped 3 ways
Norman's story at 6:45-7:00 😅
Amazingly funny 😂
At 6:45 the host was so random it’s hilarious
Great commentator
I think they knew they needed to fill time so they were like "F it. Here's a car wash story"
It’s great to see family coming to support but why do I immediately just think of all them trying to get their hands on some of that money😂
Because you’re jaded and cynical.
Because that's the truth. They're all trying their best to cheer for him so that the winner feels some sort of obligation for them.
mo money mo problems!
I think it was a record for number of punts at the final table. Never seen players be so aggressive with so much on the line
Sure, you would off won this if you was on any seat at that table wouldn’t you, your life is a punt be quite
@@Ryan-jv1mm amount of salt in your reply to my comment suggests that your life is the one we need to worry about 😂
they had a deal
Worst final table.
Given how reckless the top 3, with little consideration to ICM leads one to believe that there had to have been a deal made…despite reports of the contrary.
Dude played for 9 days then gave up at the end. Great game, but J-8??!!
It was the way the board ran out with the threat of a wheel, also the flush draw on the flop. I even predicted on the flop "there must be a low card coming" and it was...
Norman Chad great commentary as always
7:39 jones showed only the 8 initially. weinman must've felt stoked to see that.
also, there is a hardware store in Australia called Steve jones lol
maybe steve jones own the steve jones in austrlia
Did him dirty with the thumbnail 😂😂😂😂
That FT played out like a 6+.60 online buyin
Thinking THAT long and going all-in never looks strong.
so you're saying you'd incorrectly call with Weinman's hand, every time, in a spot where i had the nuts and then tank shoved on you?
@@trueneutral3092 no, they're saying you're an idiot, which you are!
I thought these players played well...we can criticize all we want...this main event imo showed how advanced the game has gotten, and yes you certainly need a lot of luck to win the main event
Человек круто изменил свою жизнь. Он стал миллионером.
Is he the one with JJ all in besting QQ and KK? If yes then May b destined to win
Yup
There had better be no such thing as destiny otherwise what is the point of anybody but the winner entering?
@skinovtheperineum1208 I'll take second place ANY DAY. Hahaha
@@drnknjbbrsh - I know! Did you see Jones? All dejected, going to pick up his loser's check for millions, lol.
@@skinovtheperineum1208 that's one of the dumber things I've ever read. If something was actually destined to happen (which is theoretically possible), people wouldn't know it. So the 10,000 people who entered wouldn't know this ahead of time and not enter 😂
Its easy to win when you make a deal with one of the two final players to go all in with 88 when he three bets you. Weinman played very few hands up to that point so when he three bet (or four bet) he had to have a strong hand.
Walton and Weinman are friends. They played golf the day before the final.
Worst comment I’ve seen so far😂 never stop playing
You mean he won roughly 6.8 million after taxes
No
this was the biggest main event in history and they couldnt make sure everyone at the final table got a million?
Then the min prize would have to be 2 million because after the gov takes their rake, you're left with only about half.
I like the guy splashing his twistedtea on everybody
Jones set himself up with the flop bet.
Didnt have to play a 150 BB pot with a bluff catcher, but the mistake on the flip screwed him.
Flop bet is not a mistake, even if it was it's insignificant especially compared to the turn re jam in position. Might have been the most 'get called by better and fold out worse' play.
Both are great players and great sportsman. It really pays to have self-respect and for others. No Tony G's or Hellmuth's here.
ESPN lost the coverage for this?
Jones was breathing very heavy, indicates he caught some of the flop.
could also be adrenaline from planning to run a bluff, I dunno ...
Yeah I noticed this too, he was an extremely heavy breather when he hit a hand. Had a lot of tells
Walton and Jones literally handed Wienman the win
He was stupid enough to move in pre with JJ against two very strong ranges, and sucked out. Similar to how Duhamel won.
There is clear deal between them .
@@aheroictaxidriver3180yeah real stupid to shove over a open and 3bet by a aggro player you been watching the whole thing or just TH-cam clips they have player for hours even days and the playing styles make for action please don’t comment such stupid things
@@Gabbbb410yeah, shoving the 8s is not such a terrible move considering their deal

What sad life you must live 🙈
@@anandguruji83I thought it was 12 Dollar.
6:36 The face of high blood pressure
I don't think there was a deal. I think Jones was just so enamored by hitting the flop that he couldn't walk back his enthusiasm for his hand. He wanted to believe his opponent was playing aggressively with two high unpaired cards.
if this was 2006, i'd say this was plausible but in 2023, no one is blasting off on the WSOP Main Event final hand, heads up, without a made hand or a heavy draw.
If I remember correctly the previous record of entries was 8773 and 1st place payed out $12 million. This year there were 10043 entries. That's an additional $12+ million into the prize pool but 1st place only payed $12.1 million... that's a lot of players money not going back into players pockets.
Sorry im replying to a 3 month comment but i think it was the payout structure back then was terrible as 10% in 06 were in the money and had like 1 million dollars to 12th. The structure in the early 2000 main events were top heavy pay outs while now it is more favorable payouts for lower end cashes
2006 was more top heavy. 2023 was more flat.
J8? Would not have played that...does not make sense on a pro table...maybe over at a friends house...lol
Thanks for spoiling it with the thumbnail... fkr!
I have a question :)
The Price is about 12.1 mio…
But when they play the POT is ~455 mio is this „fake-chips“ ?
And if you win you get the real price money ?
Yes 455 million are fake chip, can’t change to real money. it’s just game chíp like you pay $1000 to have 1 million in chips to play.
At least he didn’t slow roll the kj like John cynn 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Poker is alive and well given that this event had the first American to win the Main Event since John Cynn
Especially with the opponent having J8 off
Dealer of this hand was my dealer at the Lodge 1/2 tonight. Lol
If he just called the turn like he was supposed to. It most likly goes check/check on river and he lives to see another hand. Horrible all in
Weinman looks like the happy merchant.
Playing poker with Jones is like being tied to a dentist chair and having all your teeth pulled with no novacaine and with channel locks
let’s goooo weinman
Did shaun deeb and Mercier buy a piece of weinman??
I can’t believe the rail can see the cards!
and he made one of the worst calls earlier in the tourney with his JJ suckout. That's poker I guess
He shoved he didn't call that hand, was totally standard.
@danielcharlton5159 if he shoved, then it was AFTER 2 raises which is basically the same. They aren't folding to him. Bad move/call either way. Most players know they are behind there. But he apparently didn't and got rewarded..
@@damianhealy300 It's not the same bro trust me. There was alot going on. The jam is fine.
This man just paid 30% tax on $12M to US Gov
Yes. Grown ups pay tax.
Such a cool dude this Weinman. He is so happy to pay his taxes, look how intensely he celebrates.
@@SkyGlitchGalaxy I'm talking about income tax specifically . There are road tax , fuel tax , property tax ,tax on food , electricity and water. Grown ups are made to pay at the point of earning and again at the point of spending
@@ritswik Can he not pay tax if he wants?
@@graficandorealidades7561 Yep. Then he'll go to jail, but he can do it.
When did weinmn become the star? I was following him back in 2017, he was calling himself washed up then, did he start doing witchcraft
How did jones get so far ?
Didn’t see a single well played hand from him
Changed his insta to "Winmain" LOL
Life is a simulation
KJ seems to be WSOP m.e. winning hand quite often 😎👍
Flush drow strait draw and 4 higher kickers not counting 2 pairs or packets wtf would you go all in
How many hands in on heads up before he won it all?
Read it was 194
@@kevinstewart368 no I meant how many heads up hands? Was this the first hand?
Who bought a piece of weinman when he was heads up?
Never seen such a blatant chop 😂😂
I’ve never heard of anybody chopping at the ME let alone the biggest one in wsop history.
@@djjohnson9389I would have, that's an easy decision
We need Dneggs at a final table.
Yeah and I need the clap.
Never gonna happen bro , dudes a choker
Daniel just hasn't been playing well against normies for a few years now. He's legit better at reading and understanding fellow top pros at this point, which is why he sometimes wins high roller events, but he has gotten so much worse at milking intermediate players and beginners.
Edit: don't get me wrong, he'd destroy me heads up, but a table full of 8 of me + 1 of him? I think he wouldn't be able to understand our feeble-brained pseudorandom plays well enough to win. Taking advantage of those tiny brains is where people like Hellmuth shine.
@@codetaku pay that.
thanks for posting name of winner in headline... instead of just saying someone won
GG to Weinman.
@excessivehuntingdisorder3503 By Jones and Walton maybe but I didn't really see Weinman go very far wrong on the last day.
@excessivehuntingdisorder3503 The Main Event is pretty much a lottery nowadays. Most of the players who get to the final table are amateurs.
Poker Go is Trash. Everyone should boycott them for charging for the main. We all have money, but it's the principal. The guy is already a billionaire.
5:45 Wrong move, Jones. Should have called to the river.
when you're playing with advanced players, sometimes its better to turn your marginal hand into a bluff than to simply call. it just so happened that Weinman was not even considering folding in that spot, but a lot of people would have thought about it a LOT more than Weinman did when he shoved the turn, which brought As3s home for the wheel (or would also be the correct shove for a flopped/turned set.) IMO, Weinman got lucky that someone who shoved in that spot, only had top pair and a marginal kicker. That almost never happens at that level, anymore -- at the stack to pot ratio they were at when the hand started.
I don’t know why, but the dude reminds me of Gollum, from lord of the rings
Надо было на следующий день делать колл такой
I'm a non-pro too, but instead of winning $6.5 million, I would've come in 6.5 millionth place... even out of the 13,000....
Worst decision EVER heads-up at a final table. Weinman played the EXACT same way every time. Jones should have known was not bluffing anything from the first bet.
I think the turn shove is actually better than Weinman's call of it, by a hair, tbh.
WHAT A JOKE!!!!
Why?
The shove with Jacks was objectively bad…poker is stoopid
the call is even worse, believe it or not.
Pỏor decision by Jones.
Thanks for the spoiler thumbnail.
Need a clock for all of the tourneys even the final table. takes too long.
You say this after the fastest final table and final two in years maybe a decade
For you I would recommend only watching edited highlights.
존스 선수의 엄청난 실책이다.
I'm happy for him, but you cut off the stream in the final moments!! Just came to downvote the video. Worst game coverage in the history of ever!!
jones playing too tight...
Are they using real money or just actors?
Chopped 3 ways nice
He made big mistake that he should call all in right after the guy bet $38 millions.
I love you Maria
wow 5mil, nice
First time not watching it because I didn't want to pay for it..
First thing he is going to do is upgrade that little troll monster girlfriend.
The 2 other players gave there chips to Wiseman not sure why he went all in when u got a bluff catcher u just call. I would say rush of blood but he thought about it for ages.
deny equity poker - google it
He didn't have a bluff catcher...he had top pair
it's possible that he was intending to turn his marginal hand into a bluff, given that Weinman was tight and was likely capped at one pair, but what do i know?
great title. spolier alert.
Is that Maria Ho commenting? PokerGo is terrible at adding important information to a TH-cam video. I can hear Norm.
Bro... Maria Ho's voice is super recognizable
I wish Maria would learn to go 5 seconds without having to make a comment. We have two other commentators on the telecast that everyone would prefer to hear.
That wasn't a bad play by Jones. Crazy call by Weinman. Most could never have made that call.........on a pair of Jacks......under those circumstances.
u clearly never played heads up
@@marcelhenneberg249 ... litterally if it was AJ its NUTS
Actually it would be harder to go all-in with J8
WOW, you can blame Walton for this lame ending to a WSOP event and Jones All In was just as bad.
Thanks for ruining the wsop for me... I haven't even finished it, and I even paid the $15 I will be asking for a refund
I wonder how much Uncle Sam's share?
Weinman is JacKing off
Calling 18.5M was a mistake under Jones circumstances.
The last killer card will be his wife divorcing him taking half his money
This is a huge mistake by Jones.
i hate the fact that uncle sam always take half of your winning, might as well pronoun he truly won $6 mil instead of $12mil. Sure we all need to pay taxes but not to that crazy amount.
Yesgona
Stop talking so much we can see the cards
Dude lost cz he think too much that’s why, other guy notes his thing king too long so his waiting for a drow so he had no choice but call
Obvious deal made amongst themselves, prior to the start of the final 3. Also there’s no reason why they should feel the need to disclose such information.
I’m going to say what everyone is thinking. Maybe now he can get his teeth fixed. Sorry I know you were thinking it.

This new style of poker, where they sit and think for minutes, is boring to watch. I prefer more action.
