Ans; S.pyogenes is B - hemolytic b/c of the production of enzymes (hemolysins) called streptolysin O.
Isn't it streptolysin S the soluble one
Both streptolysin O and streptolysin S are responsible
This was so nerdy, chicken strip's 🤣 ❤. I was trying to understand this streptococcal bacteria. It just won't die. So I was throat swabbed, got strep. Had penicillin, then it comes back. My throat isn't sore but it red and my glands in my jaw are swollen. So I'm back on the penicillin.

If this is true, how could staph produce beta hemolysis without having beta hemolysins but alpha hemolysin instead?
Staphylococcus aureus does beta hemolysis not all. Only Staphylococcus aureus produces all four hemolysins
