Hello from Russia. This knife is with me on all my trips. It's like it was made for this country. A week ago, he helped with the butchering of beef that was badly chopped by the butcher. It is easily opened tin cans , cut the branches and helped to defend themselves against attacking dogs. Thanks to uncle Lynn and his firm!👍🤝

Недавно спас кухонный нож моих родственников от сколов и заминок на лезвии при разделке небрежно разрубленного мяса с костями( там были кусочки костей), использовав этот нож. У танто даже заминок не было поле того как кусок разделал, кости недорубленные дорубив и все осколки костей вырезал ( зубы жалко🙀). Потом с фери промыл и как новенький 😸

Cold Steel is cool
I love the voyager series. But my favorite is the Exlarge vaquero I carry that one everytime I go into shady neighborhoods which is most of Baltimore. Lol ! Coldsteel is the knives I choose to protect me an my family, but also are amazing work knives and anything else you can use a knife for.
I've had the Vaquero Grande 6" serrated folder for over 25 years. It is my EDC. I love it!

Another awesome knife. Light, cuts like lighting. Short story I was a Merchant Marine, my position was deck hand. I was new at this my first week, was showed how to layout a mooring line. The guy told me to do the same to a few line on the deck if any damage just cut it off, ok will do. One line had steel cable in the core I had no idea and it was damaged lol. Let me tell you I was cutting it with my coldsteel Tanto serrated blade, the blade got hot I was getting mad, why isn't it cutting and a guy came by and lol told me hay you do know about the steel cable in the middle, I said no and stopped. Know I said to myself I F***ed up my new knife, i was so mad. LET ME TELL YOU THE DAM KNIFE WAS FINE, VERY VERY LITTLE DAMAGE LMAO. I WAS HOOKED COLD STEEL BECAME MY GO TO KNIFE FOR ANY JOB I WAS ON OR GO ON ALWAYS BRING MY COLD STEEL WITH ME. COLD STEEL IS MY BFFE(BEST FRIEND FOR EVER!!!! I KNOW NOT THAT SHORT.

@@CKshouta True, however most use the rubber handle. Imagine an XL Tanto blade paired with the Large handle size. Same handle design (possibly made with g10).

I carried one of the small Tanto Voyagers for years until it was lost in the woods. If anyone ever found it, the found a good knife.

I already own the XL clip point Voyager but this video convinced me to add the serrated tanto to my collection as well. Love CS blades. 👍🗡

Mines aus8 try to get vg10 or higher. Mine holds an edge fine but never can go wrong with better steel.

I always carry a Cold Steel tanto. Either my Code 4 or my Recon 1 (Blade HQ Edition).
Don't forget to get n carry the SR1
Voyager and Air Lite are my two favorite knives. I know the serated edge is good, but I prefer straight, and always with the tanto point. I've been carrying the same Voyager for over twenty years, when it's not in my pocket another Cold Steel is.
I’m so glad I live in TEXAS where you can carry just about any knife anywhere.

I have the Voyager XL Tanto Plain Edge, as well as the Voyager XL Drop Point and Counter Point XL. When I am home, i put either one of my Voyager XL knives into my pocket for around the house carry. Those big 5 1/2 inch AUS10A blades and pistol grip handles are some of the best folders on the planet in my opinion. Nobody does XL folders like Cold Steel!

Make A fighting dagger. Double edged, partially serrated low, full tang, enough girth for "Prying", and a blunt spike pommel, and a guard just big enough to not fear your grip slipping.
Few days ago I brought my 2 Magnum 12 inch Tanto, San Mai and CPM 3V showing my elder brother in his room. He has this super thick rope for cargoes... He doubt that able to slice it. With my strength which is not strong, easily cut that rope into 2...and tried one more time using another Magnum Tanto, same result.

@@coldhart79 great stuff brother. I ordered me a Magnum tanto XII recently too. Some people complain about it not resembling the authentic Samurai Tanto. While the Samurai always have a place in my heart, I won't let anything stop my love for the magnum tanto series. Ofc bigger is better so XII takes the gold ;)

I edc my frenzyIII in black and my 6" ti-lite aluminum and I love them so much, absolutely my favorite blades
I have a gen 2 in a clip point I’ve had it for over 15 years and it still going strong.
I have the voyager tanto serrated and I've beat the living crap out of it but it never fails and holds a edge very well , great job designing the voyager , I absolutely love your knives because the Voyager was the first cold steel I ever owned and after beating the crap out of that knife and seeing how good it held up you guys got a lifetime costumer , keep up the amazing work on your knives and stay safe!

@@sabasaba1818 look up an video on it, you have to buy an spesific sharpener, and the edge last an long time, way longer then an plain edge

I just received my first Voyager XL, a clip point. Well, I see what all the fuss is about, what a beast, yet not heavy at all. Easily fits in an M65 jacket pocket. Love at first sight. Only problem will be trying NOT to buy more CS XL folders very soon... *drools*

In my experience serrated edge is very good, it has fantastic cutting performances not only in self defence aplications but also in food prep and every day tasks. The serrated Voyager is the next on my list. Thank you Lynn!.
My very first Cold Steel folding knife was a 4" Tanto straight edge. That was 25 plus years ago. Now I buy nothing else but Cold Steel. I lost that knife over the years. I will replace it with this one soon. Today I have over 40 blades from Cold Steel and I've never been disappointed even slightly once.
My first Cold Steel folder that i purchased was a Espada medium. My first Cold Steel fixed blade knife purchase was a Black Bear Classic 👌. Now i have my eyes on an Cold Steel Recon 1 CTS-XHP. Now i know what's after the Recon 1

I recently bought the XL Tanto Voyager during your summer 2020 sale...I LOVE it...just gotta get the 'snaggletooth tactical' wave opener...I'd like to see that offered as either an option - or offered standard for a slightly higher price...

@@incognitogriffinkog116 I was seriously impressed when I saw it on YT...thanx for the input...wish CS would offer an integrated opener as part of the Voyager XL series..I'll need another 'Snaggletooth' for my 6 in Hold Out also...I REALLY wanted the serrated Vaquero, but love the tanto style and it was on sale this summer...bought few others but wound up giving my wife two of 'em (Mini-Tac Tanto & Double Agent serrated)...need to get 'em again as funds allow

My absolute favorite is the Voyager Vaquero XL serrated. But I never sharpen it. Is only for self-defense.And I live in Germany. Unfortunately I'm not politically correct Lynn 😅😉🫡
Absolutely love my XL Voyager Tanto serrated blade👍! Its a badass self defense weapon in addition to being a hell of a work knife. Its my favorite out of all my Cold Steel knives.
Why did the crooked company cold steel stop making the voyager knifes what knife replaced the voyager knifes. Cold steel customer service sucks please explain why voyager knifes discontinued
I have a large tanto voyager paired with my 4" talwar. These two make a great set of edc and combative knives. My voyager makes short work of heavy cutting tasks with the serrations and the talwar handles fine and precise cuts like a dream.
I have a old Cold Steel tanto no clip rubber handle San Mai blade. I was a
Farrier in a dissection lab with a horse's lower leg. They gave us little scalpels to use and it was getting nowhere I pulled out my tanto and opened it up like a zipper. The instructor came by and asked how I had down that so quickly he was astonished that a knife would do that.
